would you rather lose all of your old memories, or never be able to make new ones?
i would rather lose all of my old memories and make new ones.

Same .
are you peace?
Edited by Frostbite282: 4/28/2016 5:07:37 PMI would leave a quick text or note to my family and friends to give me a quick refresher as to who the hell I am and the importance they've had on my life if any (sure some of them might mess with it a bit, but at least I'll have a general idea on my identity)
-
if i lost my memories I would be a different person, if i cant meet new people then idk what are the circumstances
-
So I'm basically choosing between amnesia and dementia

Edited by NUCLEAR PUNCH: 4/29/2016 8:11:43 AMYeah, ill chose to lose all my old ones: ill finally forget how dog pop tastes like
if you say "this food teast like shit", well let me tell you that you are not allowed to say that because you have never taste it, only i can say that. Also if someone else has then yeah
If u guys wanna know what actually happened, ill try to shorten the story lol
-
I would love to be able to start over. I'd leave the old ones behind.
-
Lose new memories. The past is all I have to hold on for a little shred of happiness. I don't have anything to lose at this point.
-
You should have made a poll.
-
Lose my old memories. The most important ones I have pics.
-
Lose to gain
-
I have short-term memory loss so yeah.
-
Well neither ofc! but to keep old memories would be my choice! As those memories make you you!
-
I rather just keep my old memories. Not that most of those memories are good, not at all, but there's one memory I hold very dearly to my heart that I wouldn't trade for anything else.
-
you're depressing
-
Im still in high school so i don't have much to lose.
-
I'd make a video telling myself who I am, and everything I've done, sick a sticky note on myself, then I'd wipe my memories.
-
I would lose all my old ones because of the amount of pain I went through and I would choose to make new ones with my lovely girlfriend
-
MEMENTO!!!!

Jesus, how many threads did you make? lol Your question is quite difficult. For one, if I were to choose to keep my old memories, I would be trapped in a reality of living each day without remembering what happened the last. That truly sounds like hell. Even scarier to think that real people today face that exact problem with memory loss. However, if I choose to live a life with entirely new memories, I would be a much different person than the person I know now. Isn't it our memories and lessons that make us who we are today? With those gone, we'd basically start anew. I'm not a fan of my past. But I'm proud of the person its made me to be. I'm proud of who I am right now. So, if I chose to remove my memories, would I be losing myself in the process? Would all the effort I've made throughout my years be for naught? Though, as I think about it, I'm realizing that this is merely a question of death or rebirth. If I withhold my past memories, I am asking to die as the man I knew myself to be. My life can no longer progress. If I choose to make new memories, I'm choosing to be born again. So, I suppose I would choose to be born again. Because it's either this or death, and I'm not done living yet.

-
that'd be kinda sad cause i'm not sure if I would be able to make new good memories again but I guess if I had to pick it would be make new ones.
-
Never be able to make new ones. I can't forget the birth of my kids, meeting my wife or all the years i've had. I don't travel now like I used to so new memories won't be as good as my old ones.
-
It's a catch 22. If you cannot retain your old memories you would never be able to create new ones for they will all become old memories.
-
If it comes with being immortal, then lose my memories.
-
Nah, Pokemon leaf green was pretty good, couldn't forget that I used the master ball on zapdos and not mewtwo
-
Why didn't you make a poll? Also, I'm pretty young, and my memories are cringey as shit, so I'm probably better off without them.
