We all did this once, waiting for team mates to get heavy. Guess what happened? Two titans came out of mid air and fist of havoc all five of us.

If 5 of you died then you were only missing one person. Unless he was 10 feet away about to get there you should have just opened it.
-
Yeah, all I remember was that all five of us look down at the chest and for some reason no one took. I guess we were waiting for that one person to make the move. Lol

Just once? Lol. Theres a 7 second rule. After heavy is available, wait max 7 seconds to pop. Waiting any longer is begging for a super or rocket to ruin you. I dont wait for "every" teamate. If they aren't listening for the anouncement or watching the timer, they're probably not gonna do much with heavy anyway. Lol.

Yep just once, from that point on, after 3 seconds, I'm grabbing my heavy so I can go on a kill streak. I'm currently at 24% for the Jolly holiday quest

I finished that shit in 5 matches, just play salvage with a team.

Dude, thats a tough one. There is a way to do it that doesn't require actually using TLW, but just having it equipped. If you don't finish matches with a 2.0 k/d, you will actually lose progress in that part of the quest. I struggled with it for a while because i thought you actually had to kill with TLW. I'd go 1.3 or 1.6 and make no progress. So i went into Mayhem rumble with hunter. Surrounded a lock down point in tripmines. Ready shotgun. When my GG super was ready, i'd run out, get 2 kills, then run back to lockdown point, apply more tripmines to doorways... repeat. What would have taken me months to do, i finished in about 10 games in Mayhem rumble. And hey, look at that! Mayhem rumble is available this week! That way you can maybe wait 2 more seconds to pop the heavy in IB. 5 seconds is fair. ;)

When I get heavy, I equip TLW and get as many kills as I can. Once I'm done with heavies, I switch TLW out.

You need to have it equipped when you finish the match to make progress
