Hi Ho! Splash here, and I'm sure you know about Silvered Moons. The journey of three guardians and how they became the (fictional) clan of hundreds of guardians.
You may be screaming: WHAT ABOUT THE VAULT OF GLASS SPECIAL?!?
Well... let's just say I have writer's block for that special. Also... Only 3 episodes before a special, what's up with that?
Also, there is more to the story than I let on. Before the three founders we know now... they're not the first founders.
Here's the Overview: Silvered Moons Overview
==============================
We know that the Faction Wars and its end left many factions crippled, in hiding, or just disappeared. Among them was the Silvered Moons.
This faction was founded by three guardians. A Firebreak Titan named Kyo Xylio, a Hunter named Owen Kikens, and a Warlock named Kayanna-23. The three were different in many ways, but shared a principle: As long as I look up at the sky at night; See a moon and know that we control it; We have hope.
Later, this principle became the goal of the Silvered Moons.
The faction had about 5,000 members and many supporters.
The Silvered Moons tried their best to stay out of the Faction Wars. They managed to succeed. But even though they managed to get through that, the Silvered Moons fell to infighting among themselves. After about a month when Eriana-3, Eris Morn, Toland, Vell Tarlowe, Omar Agah, and Sai Mota disappeared into the Hellmouth, Silvered Moons were silent.
Most members of the Silvered Moons are dead, whether it was from the Great Disaster, or the infighting. Only a small amount of members remain. They have joined other factions, trying to forget what happened. Or continue their daily lives. Out of the three founders, only one is known to still be alive.
Instead of fighting the Darkness like the former members of her faction, Kayanna now shuffles through the City's archives like a librarian. Sorting information. Making sure nothing was changed. Making sure nothing was missing.
Whenever she runs across information about the Silvered Moons, she will stare at the file in nostalgia, then moves on to sorting it.
Maybe one day the Silvered Moons will return to its former glory. Maybe when the City needs us most, we will come back and be our saving grace.
But for now, the Silvered Moons are gone. I keep up with the archives, reading them with my ghost, praying that Kayanna doesn't see or recognize me.
I keep an eye out on those three champions of the Crucible, bound by gun, with the name of my faction. And I document what I see.
I wish I could document the way I used to. But I can't reveal my identity.
Please, guardian. Listen to my plea-
Don't believe rumors. Don't search for me. Don't forget the motto of the Silvered Moons.
