Also experiencing the same issue as of ~ April 15 (2016) to present I have done everything ive read in any forum and the bungie and PS support sites, from 2014 to present. Power cycles, updated modem router firmware, port forwarding, MAC address checking, direct ethernet cable connection. I even went out and bought a whole new modem router to see if I had screwed anything up, same situation occurs. My friends list worked fine prior to the April Update and a while after i downloaded it too. However it now seems it may appear for a second, the moment I log in and float around In Orbit but vanishes quickly after. Or never appears in the first place. On top of this i can see my online friends in the main PS menu, can contact and make a party(but cant talk through mic)/join session but within destiny bringing up the friends list shows absolutely nothing, not even greyed out names?!?!?! Im hoping its something that Bungie needs to patch since its the only thing I can thing of that has significantly changed and seems to be the only thing out of my control that i cannot modify. Please get on top of this Bungie asap. If anyone gets any more ideas or info please dont be afraid to share.
