“It is with profound sadness that I am confirming that the legendary, iconic performer, Prince Rogers Nelson, has died at his Paisley Park residence this morning at the age of 57,” [his publicist] said in a statement. “There are no further details as to the cause of death at this time.”
I did not want to believe this, but multiple sources are reporting. RIP Prince.

Edited by STRANGERTINE: 4/24/2016 12:44:18 AMI hadn't realized that my kids had no idea who Prince was. So I'm making up for it. Been playing prince in the house nonstop. Probably more for me than them. I'm super sad about losing him. And I probably haven't listened to his music in ten years. It's always sucky when the world loses a beloved artist. But few leave a gaping void that immediately needs filling. Michael Jackson, James Brown, Elvis, Bowie, and Prince. The entire world has wept for them. To Elton John, Mick Jagger, Steven Tyler, Madonna, Paul McCartney, Eric Clapton, James Hettfield, Tony Bennett: please, wait until next year.
