Technically he was the artist formerly known as Prince, he changed his name to a symbol, but RIP none the less.

And he changed it back to Prince after the contract with WB expired, but RIP nonetheless.

It says he returned to using the name Prince around 2000 but never officially changed it back. At least that's what my research pulled up.

Yes, he RESUMED using it after he was released from the contract. So he is now Prince again.

Changed and resumed are not the same thing guardian. Just because I go by Savage doesn't mean my name is Savage, it's legally (well in Microsoft terms, unless I spent money to change it) Savageblade3747
