I'm getting a new console, but I have an Xbox 360 now. Most of my friends play PS4, and I've heard it's better in some ways. But I have 3 level 40 characters in Destiny and don't want to lose them. Is a PS4 worth the sacrifice, or should I get an Xbox One?

http://gematsu.com/exclusives/ PS4 has a lot more planned in its future and playstation always keeps it systems alive longer.

PS4. Only reason to get an Xbox is because of friends and gears/halo wars

Realistically i only stuck with Xbone cause I'll take Gears and Halo over just about every PS exclusive. That and I know XBL runs better than PSN. I own both systems but if I'm being honest the graphical difference isn't really noticeable. I'd say go with PS4 if that's where your friends are. Though you can't transfer your Density characters.

Really depends on your personal preference on the console exclusives. For the most part a lot of people on these forums dont give unbiased answers when in all reality im sure both consoles are just as good as each other

Edited by Ruthven: 4/21/2016 3:21:56 PMIf playing with your friends is a high priority then go where they play. Can you not transfer your destiny toons from 360 to PS4? Honestly, both systems are great. For me, I chose PS4 because all the games I want are on there. I'm way more interested in Uncharted than Gears of War or Halo.

Depends on how much you want to play with your friends. If you could care less, get an XBOX, as it has some pretty decent exclusives going for it (*cough cough, Halo), but if the ability to play with them does matter to you, then just get a Playstation. Though maybe wait until the new model comes out, I think it's supposed to release later this year.

If you like Halo, get the Xbox.

Play the console that your friend have. I have an Xbox because my friends have played Xbox since Halo.

I would recommend getting the console that has the friends you want to play with. Also don't let my or anyone else opinion be the number 1 factor in picking a console
-
I play Xbox but ps4 is better and your friends are there so you should pick it the destiny characters really don't matter
-
I'd go where your friends are at. Playing with friends just makes playing so much more enjoyable.

Both consoles are good, just depends on what exclusives you want. I'm a big Gears fan so I stick with xbox.

I would wait until October, as the ps4 neo is supposedly releasing then with improved performance. Microsoft are talking about doing the same with the xbox one. Truth is both consoles are now outdated.

Ps4 because your friends are on it
