A lot of people have an opinion on Bungie introducing a PS Exclusive exotic Sniper rifle, Zen Meteor, in the April update. This post is only about the inherent ironies of the name.
The first Irony:
Zen (a branch of Buddhism) has at the very core of its belief system this idea:
The practice of meditation for insight into the Buddha nature is important so that one may express this nature in themselves in their daily lives, especially for the benefit of others.
This first irony is two-fold: casting off selfishness for the benefit of others should apply to players of both consoles. PS players should want the Xbox players to have the weapon, and Xbox players should be happy for PS players for getting it.
The second Irony:
One of the greatest realizations that one can attain through meditation is this:
Time does not exist, but this realization can only be made in time.
A "timed" exclusive, which will be available to all after a period of time passes. Which doesn't exist.
Thanks for the inside jokes, whoever names stuff at Bungie. Both so subtle, but so good.

Its Zen Meteor. The idea the meditation can attain peace and forget time is falling, crashing
