Read a few pages into the thread, look back at your opening, and it might become clear to you. If you wanted a conversation about double standards, ask about double standards. If you want to make a joke, state clearly it's a joke in the first place - it's not like we have tone, a shared history, or some other context to otherwise clearly communicate that kind of statement is a joke - and maybe used a term that's a little less loaded to do so. Trying to claim jokes after you've gotten called out and trying to make this my issue is weak sauce.

Yeah! Like a mild taco bell sauce! Lol! I gotta say, I like the way you handle things here. Well educated responses are a breath of fresh air on forums after seeing many people just rage out on someone. :)

Thanks for the support! I don't see the point in just spewing rage at someone - I've never seen that actually change someone's perspective. Hopefully this approach at least puts some better food for thought out there. Thanks again!

People are so easily offended lol. While your retort may be long and filled with flashy words it's hardly an insult. I was browsing the forums, posted some crap out of boredom and you felt the need to write a narrative telling me why I'm wrong. While I can appreciate someone on these forums trying to have an intellectual argument I don't see why everyone is always so defensive and offended.

I just wish more people would be positive and leave a bump instead of faux or actual grumpiness.
