Hello-Guardians(^-^)/ !
One of me & my Fireteams favorite things to notice in this beautiful gamerworld of ours is a clever Gamertag ! Whether it's a fellow Guardian at the Tower or an opponent in the Crucible, a good Gamertag is always appreciated.
So share with us the origin of your gamertag! Why did you choose it & what does it mean to you? No judgements here(^.^)!
I'll start: Professor Hikita is a character from one of my Fireteams favorite 1984 scifi movies "Buckaroo Banzai" , he was the Japanese scientist on Team Buckaroo responsible for inventing the Over Thruster( I recommend the movie if you haven't caught it yet ). Most of my gamer friends use names from this movie.
We really welcome you guys to share with us your "Batman" names here!
Thanks always for your kindness & attention
(^-^)/

Edited by ABunchaLava: 4/24/2016 4:59:02 AMMy father is an Ares, and I am his son. Son of Ares, Aresson. Tecumseh comes from my Native American background. The tribe leader of my great grandfather's name was Tecumseh. So I just put them together. Aresson Tecumseh. I've had it for about six or seven years.

My nickname is Lucas, and the numbers are random... apparently there was already a Lucas5101 so I added an underscore

I'm an Inter fan (if you're familiar with European soccer/football) and one of the greatest teams we've ever had was nicknamed "La Grande Inter" and the number 10 signifies the best player on a team, hence...

Used to RP in a 3D chat program. Myk(Mick) is my real nickname and the SilentShadow is the last name I gave my char, a Shadow Daemon from a place called Silentium Umbra(Silence of the Shadows - Plus I used the Latin translated words for the place he calls home). Really loved the name and anywhere I sign up, I use that name. Considered using NightLust(also a last name I gave an RP char)...but considering most places are Family friendly, I decided SilentShadow was a better fit, considering I love night time.

Edited by GnardSmasha1: 4/24/2016 2:26:25 AMI used to play Warcraft back in the TCP/IP days of computer games and I always played as the orcs. The "1" at the end came because I pissed off a moderator on the Xbox live forums by making fun of his name. Two days later I got a mail message after logging in to xbl telling me that my name had "illegal characters" in it and had to be changed, even tho I had are the account three years prior...
Yes, I know I just gave away my age. I've been playing video games since the original Atari 1600...
When I was in high school, I used to feel like a badass (like everyone tries to feel like), so I named most of my characters as Tasteofchaos. While playing a game of halo, one of my friends walked over and said "Who's Tasteoftacos?" From then on I changed my tag and I've had it for now six years

You know..

Wow, I am about to feel old, but here goes........ Way back in the mysterious days of old, when dinosaurs roamed the Earth, people wore metal t-shirts & we played a game involving paper, dice & our vocal cords. This magical game was called Dungeons & Dragons. Xronad was my human Paladin (the last human character I ever played as well), but my DM (Dungeon Master for the uninitiated) people playing Chaotic Good & Humans, yet here my punk ass was playing both........ So, to teach me a lesson, I was sent on my holy quest to enter the Abyss & die in glorious battle killing a demon. I found a minor demon & through excellent rolls, managed to kill the little bastard & live! Well, as you can imagine, this pissed off my DM to no end, so he got creative. The next weekend, the Prince of Hell that demon served decided to get some payback, since that was his favorite chew toy. So he attacked me & caused an infection that would slowly turn my Paladin into a demon as well. The DM gave me 2 choices, retire my character to a monastery to lead a life of fasting & prayer so he would never turn or I could keep him & watch him slowly turn into a demon. The DM thought I would retire my character & create a new 1, but I am a stubborn asshole & so I kept Xronad & played him. I eventually got him strong enough I had to put him into NPC status & I grew his legend into something interesting & fun.
