Guardians✨ How did you pick your Gamertag?
Hello-Guardians(^-^)/ ！
One of me & my Fireteams favorite things to notice in this beautiful gamerworld of ours is a clever Gamertag ! Whether it's a fellow Guardian at the Tower or an opponent in the Crucible, a good Gamertag is always appreciated.
So share with us the origin of your gamertag! Why did you choose it & what does it mean to you? No judgements here(^.^)！
I'll start: Professor Hikita is a character from one of my Fireteams favorite 1984 scifi movies "Buckaroo Banzai" , he was the Japanese scientist on Team Buckaroo responsible for inventing the Over Thruster( I recommend the movie if you haven't caught it yet ). Most of my gamer friends use names from this movie.
We really welcome you guys to share with us your "Batman" names here!

My dad made an account before I could and I just watched him playing Call of duty. He got tons of buzz kills (stopping someone elses score/killstreak). I thought getting buzz kills was like some amazing feat so I put Crazy-buzz_kill, as in like "Im crazy with buzz kills" or something like that. Edit:my forum and social media name used to be derpyaura as in "an aura of derpiness" then I changed it to GamingAura because derpy was apparently the bane of some peoples' existence. I kinda like the change.

On occasion it'll have an underscore instead of a space, depending on the username rules, or no space at all. Zero is my favorite number. You hear zero and think nothing. Or to have nothing. Wrote it with an X since the pronunciation stays the same. Aurion is Greek for "tomorrow". Somewhat self explanatory. When you put the meaning of these words together, you get "nothing" and " tomorrow". I took the meaning as "no tomorrow", which is the true intended meaning on the name. 7 RepliesMy first name was shadav4. It meant literally nothing. Just a name back when usernames were made up words. That was when I was around 10. I didn't like it and I switched it to impurity. The 41 after was because impurity was taken. I'm pretty good at games but in real life I'm shit at sports. I know that I'm different than most gamers and I'm different at how I play. When you see my name, I want you to know that you aren't facing some random guy. You're facing me. When you see impurity41, in any game, you'll know you'll be in a harder fight than you think :) [spoiler]especially in super smash bros brawl or smash 4. I'll take you down without a sweat[/spoiler]
