Guardians✨ How did you pick your Gamertag?
Hello-Guardians(^-^)/ ！
One of me & my Fireteams favorite things to notice in this beautiful gamerworld of ours is a clever Gamertag ! Whether it's a fellow Guardian at the Tower or an opponent in the Crucible, a good Gamertag is always appreciated.
So share with us the origin of your gamertag! Why did you choose it & what does it mean to you? No judgements here(^.^)！
I'll start: Professor Hikita is a character from one of my Fireteams favorite 1984 scifi movies "Buckaroo Banzai" , he was the Japanese scientist on Team Buckaroo responsible for inventing the Over Thruster( I recommend the movie if you haven't caught it yet ). Most of my gamer friends use names from this movie.
We really welcome you guys to share with us your "Batman" names here!

1 ReplyMy tag is a simple one. I like/played Baldur's Gate, D&D, Diablo, Neverwinter, ETC... got my name by combining some of the enemies in those games. The 01 was because it was taken back in the day. The all caps? One of the suggestions the system gave me that wasn't full of random caps/letters/numbers.

I played street fighter since I was little and my dad brought home a snes with two games, super mario world, and street fighter 2. I had a blast playing it with my twin brother. And as of today, it is still one of my favorite franchises. Formidable is well, you will know in the Crucible.

1 ReplyMy full gamertag is Yeti Frostgale which is an old name from a LARP group that I was in called Amtgard. However do to length limits in some things, it eventually got shortened to Frostgale and 42 was added because when I first started using it on Xbox was with Halo 2 which had a 3 character tag which I set as Y42.

I've had this name for decades. When I came up with it in the early 90s (God I feel old) Bram Stoker's Dracula had a major hand in making vampires popular during that time. So I took Vlad from Vlad the Impaler and added the suffix -eon to it which indicates that I'm a descendent of Vlad the Impaler. I've had it ever since. I've seen maybe two other people use it since I've been using it but so far it's pretty unique.

1 ReplyI saw a "Cheeses Crust" I laughed. As for mine. I kinda like the Xbox standard gt layout: (Capitalised random adjective or profession)+ (capitalised random noun) + (number) So I applied that to two cool, rhyming words, and my fav number! :D
