Hello-Guardians(^-^)/ !
One of me & my Fireteams favorite things to notice in this beautiful gamerworld of ours is a clever Gamertag ! Whether it's a fellow Guardian at the Tower or an opponent in the Crucible, a good Gamertag is always appreciated.
So share with us the origin of your gamertag! Why did you choose it & what does it mean to you? No judgements here(^.^)!
I'll start: Professor Hikita is a character from one of my Fireteams favorite 1984 scifi movies "Buckaroo Banzai" , he was the Japanese scientist on Team Buckaroo responsible for inventing the Over Thruster( I recommend the movie if you haven't caught it yet ). Most of my gamer friends use names from this movie.
We really welcome you guys to share with us your "Batman" names here!
Thanks always for your kindness & attention

My xbox-generated tag was JocularGold9. I liked it and decided to name myself what I am now. Also my gamerpic is a nine now.

It was my XBOX Live handle from all the way back in the Live Beta trials. Had just gotten home from Hawaii...but everyone associates it with "Pulp Fiction".

I play portal, A LOT. I think differently than others, sometimes I can finish a level a way that it wasn't intended.

I usually get called a 22 year old kid or something lol.. I'll beat or get beat by someone younger and they'll use that against me somehow... like I care. Funny thing is... It's a song by a band I like a great deal, and the numbers are the release date for the song. Idiots.

My first name. And my sport. I also was going for a play on words with a famous person. Can you guess who it is?

My first online game was ratchet and clank up your arsenal, and my name was T1 on the game and when we made videos for the game on YouTube everyone had their name then UYA (up your arsenal) at the end so we could find eachother. And I just used it from there T1uya.

I've been using Chaos since I was 17 or 18, but it was a common name. My friends and I had a Starcraft guild my friend made called Kings, Lords, God's (yes, he was a bit narcissitic, but he was only 16-17 at the time as well). We shortened it to KLG and added it before our names. I've stuck with it ever since, nearly 20 years now.

It sounded cool

Edited by NINO: 4/26/2016 8:08:24 PMOh boy, everybody listen up. There will never be a better origin story than the one that birthed Not Real Beef. A few years back, in my 8th grade History class, the teacher was quite the strange man. I won't use his name for the sake of privacy, but I'll say his last name sounded kind of similar to "Corn Starch". Being the mature 8th graders we were, we started calling the poor guy Reginald "Reggie" Cornstarch. This isn't important to the story, but he had a reputation of being a bit of a child predator for some reason. One day, a kid brought up the topic of Beefaloes. You know, the mix between a Cow and a Buffalo? (They're real if you didn't know, Google it). We had been learning about these obscure hybrid animals in our Science class. Basically, Reginald "Reggie" Cornstarch didn't believe us that Beefaloes existed. We gave the poor guy a run for his money about how wrong he was. We probably made him want to move to Zimbabwe and become a lone fisherman. As a part of the campaign to convince Reggie about the existence of the majestic Beefalo, we started the saying "Believe in Beef". So pretty much, the beef wasn't real in the eyes of Reginald "Reggie" Cornstarch.

Had a strange big head as a kid. So was naturally called hippo head at school. Years of therapy later I have embraced the hippo... ohh and a storm of hippo's would be cool

Been using the same one since counter strike and early battlefield days

My fiancé and I have matching names. I originally made the first account as our joint account: SceneOneForever. It's based off "our song", (Scene One: James Dean and Audrey Hepburn Acoustic Version by Sleeping With Sirens) and my name (SceneTwoForever) is based off the first song I heard from that band (Scene Two: Roger Rabbit) as well as a play on our original account.
