It seems to me like the Dreg's Promise shots don't register correctly when they hit an enemy. And, while I do run into a ton of games that are unbelievably laggy, I've noticed that even during games when there doesn't seem to be much lag, the rounds still just don't seem to register hits consistently.
Sometimes, the hits register late, and I get a post mortem kill. Sometimes I survive, but it's a very close call, because my enemy's death is very delayed. But, sometimes it's like I was shooting dummy rounds.
It's really weird. I'm not sure what's going on with it. Hopefully Bungie is aware of the issue and will fix it soon, because I think it's a neat gun and could be bad@ss, if it worked right.

I'm with you dude, I've picked up three from the poe but when using it something doesn't feel right. Feels really laggy and extremely underpowered. I heard there was a bug that it was still stuck doing yr 1 damage but may just be heresay

I heard it's not a hit scan weapon. The bullets are projectiles so they have travel time between the point the bullets go out from the weapon and actually hitting the target.

The Dregs Promise's bullets have a slow travel time, but bounce off of things at track targets. Maybe the travel time is killing you, so to speak. Hope this helps! [i]~TheGreatReebok[/i]

In PvE I was noticing this happening too...it may be a bug That or the tracking requires being super close.

You could be noticing the slow travel time of the bullets, causing a slight delay between firing and impact. Otherwise, there could be connection issues.
