Prison of Exiles (RP - RoB)

- An interlude for RoB and other realms, loosely tied to Warhammer 40k and several other themes. Hurtling through the aether, between the currents of space and time, soars a mighty vessel of steel and flesh, a starship of vast size and unimaginable power - The Bloodwrath. This is an ancient ship of legends, with a lengthy history that has appeared throughout time over tens of thousands of centuries. It has sailed through the warp, a gateway between stars and galaxies that does not abide by the laws of physics, and is inhabited by entities of unspeakable horror including gods of madness and chaos. The inhabitants of the ship are champions from many realms. With no memory of their arrival, they are bound together for a common cause - a cause that not even they can fathom. These are the stories of these exiles. Welcome to Prison of Exiles. For New Arrivals:
https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/126649858/0/0
Biographies:
https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/123300498/0/0
Bloodwrath Information:
https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/153882861/0/0
Link to RoB reference:
https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/120286322/0/0
- The Bloodwrath will now be your home, but tread lightly, for this starship has a taste for blood, and a hunger for the souls of men to fuel it's fires of war. Consider this a warning, venturing into quarantined and off limits areas could lead to an unpleasant demise. The things that dwell in the dark are beyond you, and more insidious than you could imagine. Current Happenings: - Your memories are blank as to your arrival, but there seems to be hope. Many are reporting visions brought on by depictions of an hourglass... Perhaps searching for banners, relics, books, or other items related to the hourglass could unlock the mystery of your arrival. The Rivers of Blood continue to flow.

It had been a long while, but Lucas was finally freed from the bounds that were his casts. His body had healed completely, only.. he felt weak. He hadn't trained in a while, mainly because his fücking left arm and leg were broken, along with a whole bunch of ribs. So what did he do? Spar with his older brother, of course. Luke stood before his older brother, Jason, at the edge of the Jade Dragon area, in the grass. Both of the brothers were unarmed - though Jason had his metal prosthetic arm and leg - and unarmoured, only wearing normal clothes; both of them wearing a white T-shirt - Jason's hugging his muscular figure rather nicely - and a pair of camouflaged shorts. While the two were just as tall, Jason was just more muscular thanks to super steroids (no really, I'm not kidding), and because he's a cocky fück, he took his shirt off, showing off his bulging muscles while flexing, his metal arm shining a little in the light. Lucas just rolled his eyes with a sigh of disapproval. "Are you gonna keep doing that or what?" "Well, li'l me gotta show what li'l tiny Lucky Luke is up against, now don't I?" Lucas just shook his head in response, and got into a combat stance: his right foot sliding forwards a little, his body turning to the side, his fists raised. Idk combat stances, mmmkay? Jason just tilted his head a little with a soft chuckle before straight up charging Lucas, his right fist raised. Lucas simply stepped to the side just before the fist made contact, making Jason stumble forwards. Lucas then turned, kicking as he did, swiping Jason's left leg from underneath him, making the big mean giant tumble to the floor. Lucas chuckled as he stood steadily again, and took a couple of steps away from Jason to allow him to get up. Jason laid there for a bit, face down, before placing his hands to the sides like he was gonna do push-ups, and then, well, pushed himself up, moving his legs a little to get up. Then he turned to face Lucas again, and cracked his own knuckles before popping the bones in his neck. "Ya ain't seen shït yet, you li'l bastard. Don't get cocky, eh?" "I'm just saying," Luke replied as he beckoned Jason over with his right hand, taking the combat stance once more. Jason gave a tiny nod, and slowly moved over, also assuming a combat stance. Once he stood before Lucas, about three feet away, he quickly stepped forwards, aiming for Lucas' gut with his right hand while uppercutting his jaw. Lucas dodged the uppercut with relative ease by just stepping back, though the hit to his gut connected, making him bend forward slightly, and groan in pain. Jason grinned while Lucas muttered something along the lines of "cheap hit", making Jason grin even more. Then, Jason hit Lucas again, repeating his uppercut, and fücking lifting Lucas off his damn feet. Jason punched Lucas' gut again while Lucas was still lifted in the air, pushing the nerd off his fist, and flying backwards a little. Jason stepped back, Lucas hitting the grass floor rather hard. He then laid there on his back, his eyes closed tight. "Sorry, little bro," Jason carefully said as he looked at his feet, Lucas just wheezing off on the grass, his eyes slowly opening. He stared at Jason, and slowly struggled onto his feet with a shake of his head, wheezing the words, "I'm not that fückin' easy you.. you bastard.." "Want li'l ol' Jason to go easy on ya? 'Cause I will, if ya want me to." Lucas shook his head, his breath slowly returning to normal. Once he was breathing normally again, he took his combat stance again, and waved Jason over once more. Jason more than happily obliged, slowly approaching the wounded Lucas, his fists raised. Once he was close enough, he swung his right fist sideways at Lucas' right temple, only Lucas simply crouched a little, and full-on rammed his fist into Jason's lower abdomen, only to be hit in the fückin' face by Jason's right knee, making the poor Lucas fall flat on his back, his left hand clutching his now bleeding nose.. fückin scrubby Lucas. Only, Jason had also stumbled back with a very much pained groan - but he was still within reach of Lucas' feet. So what did Lucas do? He kicked accurately and very fückin' hard, hitting Jason's right kneecap, only to then do the same with Jason's left knee with his other leg, making Jason both stumble and step back - it looked pretty weird. "You got lucky, but so did I, eh?" "Only thing is that it took twenty-seven years for you, my li'l bro, and fifteen for good ol' Jason," Jason responded with a soft chuckle, a smile playing around his lips. "You're disgusting.." Lucas slowly struggled to his feet, blood dripped from his nose, flowing over his lips like two crimson rivers, and dripping down his chin onto his T-shirt like tears, the white T-shirt already having quite a bit of red stains. His nose was definitely fücked up. He shook his head slowly once he was standing, albeit slightly bent over a little. He glared at Jason, who just chuckled in response, and got into his combat stance once again, slowly waving Jason over with his left hand. Jason slowly shuffled closer, also in a combat stance, his face expressionless, his eyes trained on Lucas. Jason quickly stepped forwards, swinging at Lucas' face again. Lucas dodged diagonally to the right and backwards, fückin' turning and goddamn roundhouse kicking, aimed for Jason's face - only, Jason catched the foot, holding it tight. So tight that Lucas feared his bones would get crushed. "I could break yer ankle right about now, li'l dumb dumb." "You wouldn't.." Jason grinned and pushed Lucas away from him, making Luke stumble a little before he found his footing again. Lucas then quickly moved to Jason again, and swung for the side of Jason's jaw with his right fist - only for Jason to catch the fist, and yank Lucas towards him, elbowing him square in the face, the sound of bone snapping being heard as the metal elbow made contact with Lucas' poor, poor face. Luke's nose was even more screwed up now, it having a little bend to it. Jason wasn't done yet. He held Lucas in place as he lowered his elbow, and kneed his younger brother in his gut with his metal knee, making Lucas gasp in pain. He was losing by a landslide. Jason then pushed Lucas away from him, making Luke stumble again, more and more blood dripping down his chin and onto his once white shirt. Lucas spat out some blood, and raised his hands in surrender, softly saying the words, "Can't win from you, eh? And those prosthetics are seriously unfair. Hurt a lot. And I'm a technician, not as much a fighter." "I ain't the one who gave 'em to me, li'l bro. You were, though. And I fückin' love these things. And you were in the military, still," Jason responded as he lifted his prosthetic hand, the tip of his thumb popping off to the side, like a lighter, to show a little flame. It was indeed a lighter. "True, true," Lucas responded, spitting out some more blood before bowing very deeply before Jason as a sign of respect. He stayed like that for a few seconds before getting back up and straightening himself. He then turned on his heels, and limped off, leaving Jason alone with his thoughts.
Open, of course.
• -blam!- You And Your Legion! // Bracheous Beranteus // 6:57 PM // Bloodwrath Halls, Outskirts of Imperium Camp ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ An eerie silence filled the Bloodwrath's hallways as Bracheous swiftly moved through the vessel. Even any of the other chapters could tell he was immensely furious based off of how he carried himself while moving, not even a Tyranid would even try to get close to this figure of hatred. His heavy footsteps echoed off the fleshy walls of the living ship, whick seemed to eye the often collected and calm Astares while he walked. The Crimson Scar had thoughts running throughout his head, stemming back to a conversation with an Ultramarine from earlier that dday, where the name "Breyven" was mentioned and is said to have been looking for Bracheous. His past was coming to haunt him, even onboard the Bloodwrath and in the Warp. He believed Brevyen to be a dead man, like the rest of his chapter so long ago. But he learned the truth after escaping a Khornite arena of the Chaos forces, by interrogating a Khornite and threatening to free every last fighter in the arena. He told Bracheous of how his chapter was now a traitors chapter, and how any loyalists of the Imperium were executed, of how his Chapter Master was swift in betraying the Emperor, that spineless little bitch. And so when he heard the name Bracheous shouted angrily from behind him, the Loyal Crimson Scar stopped dead in his tracks, and he tightened his cold grip on his hammer. "Bracheous Beranteus, last of the loyal Crimson Scars, I command you to halt!" The voice spoke with such noise that no man could miss his voice, which would be heard for miles through the hallways of the colossal ship. Bracheous spun around in his tracks just then, as he brought his hammer to his right shoulder while the pole went to his left ankle. The man who faced him wore the armour of the Crimson Scars, but with no helmet, his brown skin matching the brown eyes that looked intently to Bracheous. "Brother, Khorne has deemed you worthy to fall, and it will be by my chainswords." When Brevyen activated either of his massive Chainswords, dried blood and rust from said blood spun around the blades with a deafening roar from the weapons. Nevertheless though, Bracheous and Breyven both managed to speak over the sounds of the blades spinning furiously. "Blood for the Blood God," Breyvan shouted into the air as he rushed forwards to Bracheous, which was met by the loyal Astares shouting his own bloodcurdling cry. "For the Khan of Khans!" He shouted as he raised the hammer onto his right shoulder, and the pole for his colossal weapon was out in front of him. The hammer of Bracheous was swung downwards to the head of his enemy, but the blow was intercepted by Brevyen's left chainsword, as the sound of both weapons colliding sent out a scream that would curdle the blood of all who heard. Brevyen brought the sword in his right hand up to the chestplate of Bracheous, which was in turn intercepted by the bottom of his hammer, which seemed to be highly resistant against the pair of swords that cut into it, He even managed to push his weapon towards Brevyen's throat in an attempt to trap the man against a nearby wall, but Bracheous was swiftly kicked in the inner thighs. Bracheous ignored the pain of the hit against his armoured thighs, but Brevyen decided to drag his weapon to the side and drag it across Bracheous' armour. Thoughts of anger flooded through both men's heads as they continued their combat for hours, before Bracheous finally got a hit on the chestplate of the Khorne follower that gave it a sizable dent. The Loyal Astares hit the Khornite in the left knee which broke his leg, allowing Bracheous to slam his hammer down on the head of Breyven. He believed the Khornite to be a dead man, but in truth he was simply unconscious and suffering some major brain damage. And so Bracheous walked far from the scene of the fight with his armour of scratches and smaller dents. He strolled through the alleys with great haste in attempt to flee and forget, really. Or find a capable fighter, because where one Marine goes, his chapter typically follows. That rule applies to the Traitor Legions as well, it seems. ((Open, first part of some plot I've got planned))
He doesn't have the Decepticon Symbol, obviously.
The figure strode through the halls of the Bloodwrath with an unwavering stature. It stood at 8 feet, each step it took accompanied by the clanking of metal on metal. It's one, purple eye observed everything around it coldly, compiling information. Any Pskyer in the area wouldn't know of the Automaton's existence if they didn't see it. The mangled hands of the Warp tried to split open the metal man's psyche, to no avail. This thing did not have a soul, the Warp was useless. As it continued walking, an old man in rags clung onto the robot's foot. He looked up with pleading, bloodshot eyes. "Please... Help.... Me..." The robot stared coldly at the man, then it spoke in an even chillier tone. "Empathy is not an emotion I am familiar with." The robot grabbed the man by the head with one of its clawed hands. It's right arm, which was free, turned into a cannon of sorts. It aimed at the man in the robot's hands. "Nor is mercy." With a single blast of magenta and black energy, the man was gone. The Automaton's arm shifted back into its original form, and walked on.
Short, sweet, introduction! Open!
In the Bloodwrath's Halls, three figures shambled forward, aimlessly. The three figures were two Space Marines and a Venerable Dreadnought from the Imperial Giants Chapter, an unknown chapter to anyone on the Bloodwrath, and many not on the Bloodwrath. Both Space Marines carried Power Swords, Boltpistols, and Bolters, and the Dreadnought fancied a Multi-Melta on its right arm. They were keeping an eye out for anything worth noting - though they hoped for friendly life forms.... They were each different, one fancied Artificer Terminator Power Armor with an Orange-ish red-ish color and a grey-ish color, while the others wore regular power armor (first above link), albeit two of them with changes. One could be identifiable as a Techmarine, only one shoulder Pauldron that grey color while the rest of his armor was red, and he had a servo arm. The other was identifiable as an Apothecary, identifiable by his Narthecium and Prime Helix. His armor however was not white, instead it remained the normal chapter colors. Lastly, the final Marine only had the (again, above.) earlier mentioned power armor with the Chapter Colors. This could generate a question, though. What chapter was this? As they fully stood up, they each noticed their weapons next to them, leaning over to pick them up. They mostly had similar weapons (Bolt weapons), except for the Terminator, who fancied a Rotary Cannon/Minigun (idk what it's called in 40K, but it's that Minigun Terminators can use with just one hand), and a Lightning Claw. They started walking, aimlessly, wondering where the heck the rest of their Chapter was...
Moot, made it again because it seemed glitched when he replied. Wouldn't show up.
I am rage The human had no chance as the axe cleaved through his chest at an inhumane speed. The nails were singing their song, and Brund was in its trance. Every part of his armored form was a weapon, cutting, crushing, and rending flesh and bone as his need for violence grew. As the last mortal fell he squatted over the corpse and drove his gauntlets into its back. With a wrenching and bubbling pop the human's spine and skull flew free of its body. Brund dropped his axe and held the spine and skull aloft roaring a terrible cry to khorne as his gene enhanced lungs echoed the sound through the empty halls. Then in an instant he returned, former legionary Azoth Brund, of the World Eaters. He lowered his trophy as he squatted and began to clean the skull. This was the only one to put up a worthy fight, and it got a lucky hit on an armor joint. Not the greatest of offerings but blood had been shed on both sides and that was all that mattered. Once it was clean of most of the gore he deftly poked a hole in it and threaded a steel cable from his belt into the skull. Standing he sighed and picked up his axe, this was all he knew now. The nails had taken his sanity, and now this ship had taken his memory. He knew only his name and the thirst for glory, and battle. Only, an itch of his former self remained. He shook his head as the possibility of remembering his purpose slammed shut like a steel trap, a chance only to be re opened by bloodshed. He began to stride down a service tunnel in search of a way to find his true purpose aboard this vessel of the lost. Open

Hubris I move through the shadows and rustle the dust that seems to be everywhere. Dust. A cruel irony. I push frail and awestruck humans out of the way as I continue down the musty corridor. Like ancient apes they lived in a feral state in this section, worshiping my brothers. I felt them now, their minds brushing up against mine, I'm close. The humans fawn over me and begin to chant and prostrate as I move towards my brothers. How long have they been here? How long was I unconscious? I come upon a shrine where my brothers stood unmoving surrounded by candles and offerings. I walk up to them and place my hands each on one of their shoulders. I chuckle and shake my head. The folly of hubris led them to this state, our hubris. I raise my head and breath out a whispered chain of words, too soft to hear. With a raspy hiss, both suits stand tall and turn to look at me with eldritch green eyes, my brothers were awake. I enter their simple minds, and am no longer swayed by the confusion and sorrow that fills them. Turning around I look upon the filthy humans that grovel before me, non are fit to serve as my slave. With a telepathic command my brothers raise their bolt guns and fire into the crowd. I watch as the humans fall and flee as we continue out the way I entered "All is dust humans, return to it" We exit out into the main causeway I had left and looked down the darkened passage.
open
Nothing approached her yet...which she found odd. Is this place barren? she thought to herself, that couldn't have been right though. Her sensors picked up movement and she grabbed her plasma pistol, a rather dangerous weapon to use due to how it has a chance to explode in ones hand. Then it appeared, A khornate Bloodletter. It somehow jumped her from behind, it attempted to cut her in two with its blade but she was faster. Using her plasma blade she managed to block the sword blow, She quickly jumped back and fired her plasma pistol once at the Bloodletter. She had hit her mark right on the bloodletters chest, but even with a gaping hole in its chest it still charged towards her. She was surprised it managed to live through her Plasma shot and prepared her blade. The bloodletter tried to slash once more but she anticipated it and swiftly dodged to the side and then stabbed her blade into its abdomen, she quickly cut her attacker in two and to make sure it stayed dead she cut off its head with ease. "Shit...should have been more careful..." She said as she sat down. Looking at the bloodletters corpse. "I should probably..rest."
Open to all! Introducing a new character!
• Three blades meet The battle had begun once everyone was in position. The Romans had interpreted the auguries, the signs were good, if they fought hard enough and earned it, they could win. The force had split in two, officially both tribunes shares control of the army but in reality few would follow the young dishonest Claudius into battle willingly. Their trust was in their senior commander, tribune Quintus Tullius, who had taken command of his body guard and decided to lead the mercenarius into battle. The eldar were caught between the legion and the mercenarius, there was no escape for them the attacking men stood awaiting orders as the dark eldar readied what defense they could. Outmanned three to one the five hundred or so dark eldar were in desperate straights. The hundred or so slaves that they kept were anxious as well, there was a hope of rescue by some, but others had given into chaos, and yet some still were hiding warriors, waiting for the legionnaires to lower their guard before stabbing them in the back. A horn rang out and tribune Quintus pulled his sword and raised it into the air and then pointed it to the eldar. "CHARGE!"
Open
A very heavily wounded Black Templar stumbled through the dark depths of the partially living ship, The Bloodwrath. The Templar was missing an arm, it being ripped off by a foul Heretic, and then jabbed in his left shoulder, which had pinned him to a wall. Instead of waiting to be eaten or brutally murdered, the man had torn his prosthetic Chainsword arm from his shoulder to free him, and slowly started to move. At first his steps had been certain and big, moving him forward quickly - but they had quickly been reduced to a mere stumble as he lost loads of blood from the massive wound, no matter how much he clutched it. He was gonna die - especially now that he was lost in the darkness, Daemons and Heretics all over the place - he heard them, felt their presence. After an even longer time of walking, he just.. collapsed starting to drag himself forwards. Then, he heard very quick tapping, like rapid footsteps. Something, or multiple things, was or were approaching him quickly. From the sounds he heard, he was certain they were Tyranids. Foul bugs. And so, he took his Bolter in hand after dropping the Chainsword arm, and reloaded the tool with some effort - because reloading his hard with only one hand - and aimed it in the direction of the noise. Then, he fired, the muzzle flash lighting the halls up, but the bugs were too far away - not for the bullets, however, as soon screeches and other foul noises rang out, bodies hit the floor, skidding for a bit, and leaving a trail of blood. He kept firing until he ran out, letting go of the Bolter, and taking the Chainsword arm. Then, after doing a thing or two, the Chainsword roared to life, the teeth spinning very rapidly. "Fight for the Emperor.. Live for the Emperor.." He slowly pushed himself up on his elbow, sluggishly getting to his feet. Then he muttered with a hateful tone - hate for the Tyranids, "Die for the Emperor.."
Open.
• The Bloodwrath Halls, 2100 Hours. The heavy sounds of footsteps could be heard echoing off the partially living walls of the truly colossal vessel. These footsteps sounded particularly loud compared to the silence that filled the current part of the ship however, but that silence would only be temporary. The one who wandered through the vessel was one without armour. One of course who thought it was useless to him, but that's just because he was overly confident and just a slight bit cocky. His arrogance and lack of good arms would eventually be his downfall, but for now he was relatively safe with what he did wield. The man had a duster on his body, but it looked as if it had been through hell and back, which was easily able to be told by the tears along the bottom, and the six bullet holes that rest on the chest of the jacket. Blood surrounds the circles, but each stain was dried up, as if it had happened in an endeavour long ago. Beneath the duster was a single jumpsuit across the wearers body. It seemed to be a custom made one though, seeing as it was comprised of a strange element that shifted and morphed around his body. While it would serve no real combat bonus, it was still a good thing to have if you don't want rips in the outfit from any possible augments. The man had bore a hat atop his head, one which cast a grim shadow onto his half-charred mug. The left half of his face was horribly burned and scarred, while the right side was still as handsome as ever. A trimmed, dyed white beard rested across his aged face, which seemed to make him look a tiny bit older than he was, which was forty years old at the moment. The Cowboy had a set of exquisite revolvers at his hips. The twin revolvers were a completely black shade, but the barrels and cylinders were all silver. The right gun had the word "Sixe" engraved in black on the barrel, while the word "Grimace" had been engraved on the left firearm. Both of the weapons did look nice however, they were clean and devoid of dirt or markings. Across the figures torso was a bandolier of bullets, containing ammunition for what seemed to be a tri-barrelled shotgun that rested across the cowboys back. The firearm was without a stock though, which means it could easily be used with only one hand if the user was strong enough. His waist held two swords on the sides of his belt, just behind the revolvers, which were both hidden by the duster. Either of the blades rested there, both with curved blades on the hilts of theirs. One was imbued with flame, and one was embedded with some form of dark magic to it. (Literally The Dancer's swords from Dark Souls.) Neither of his arms were flesh and blood, rather they were machines. Steel and ceramic was used on the left arm, which was all black and devoid of all colour aside from the insignia of the Cobalt Phoenix engraved in blue on the arm. The right was silver entirely, save for the faded letters in red that rest on his shoulder. But, both were hidden by the duster and jumpsuit, all aside from the hands. The man wandered through the halls of the Bloodwrath. He had no real goal for today, other than to just hunt whatever he could hunt, loot what he could loot, and shoot whatever he could shoot. This was what he was fated to do on the strange ship, until he or someone else managed to find a way off this massive vessel of death. He could swear it had a pair of eyes just watching him from somewhere on the walls, but figured he would just ignore that feeling of being watched. ((Open))

                                        • "Knowledge is a powerful thing" Such a truer teaching has never been taught. The tech-priest mused as he observed the words of his mentor hung on the wall. He was surrounded by code; a pure and unrelenting logic seperated in a conglomerate of hexadecimal, binaric, and tirtiary coding floating about his persona hiding meanings and truths of life within. Several series of stasis pods lined the walls each filled with a unique form of logic, a being born from a dead knowledge that transcended any work that any imperial or dark mechanicus could ever make. They were an untold multitude of creatures born for a master they would never meet or ever may know. That would be their greatest strength, the subtle absence of knowledge. The tech priest smiled as the culmination of his work slept before him. He studied amoung the priests of mars until he grew bored of their regions dogma that blinded him. He was labeled a Dark Mechanicus and hunted like a dog would a rabbit for seeing the truth of science and physics, for merely suggesting that a human was not the ultimate life form, for understanding the truth of what needed to be done. Even the sons of Magnus balked at his work and yet here it was. He absently held the Necron artifact at his hip. His works culmination all a success thanks to a chance encounter with a dying space marine. His body in particular floated in a stasis chamber somewhere in the room, after all he couldn't let him die yet. No the marine couldn't die without seeing the miricle about to be produced by an encounter of fate.

Part of a Complete Breakfast Leonidas walked the halls of the Bloodwrath, his armor covered with his black cloak. He was towered over most people near him, considering he was 8'5. As he walked, multiple noises reached his ears at once. The revving of Chain Weapons, yelling, the crushing of metal, and heavy footsteps that were similar to Leonidas'. "Hmmm..." Leonidas turned to corner that the noises were coming from out of curiosity. What he was had its back turned to him. A Khornate Berzerker, a Chaos Champion. His red and gold armor was embellished with skulls and spikes. Leonidas knew what was about to happen. He threw off his cloak. The whooshing of air got the Berzerker's attention, as he turned and stared at Leonidas with red-orange eyes. Leonidas had his pristine set of Mark VIII "Errant" Power Armor, with blood red Keeper robes over them, his left arm signifying his Deathwatch status, and his right arm, blank and black, bearing no Chapter Mark, signifying him as a Black Shield. His right pauldron instead sported a Tyranid Skull. The Khornate Bezerker held a two-handed Chain-Axe in each hand, decorated with skulls and stained with blood, matching his armor. The Berzerker let out a roar that seemed to shake the very ground beneath the two, and he charged. Leonidas took out his Force Staff and let loose a torrent of Warp-powered lighting at the Berzerker. When the bolts reached the Berzerker, they simply disappeared, and didn't effect him. This is what is known as an, "Oh shit" moment. Leonidas was shoulder charged with the force of 50 bullet trains, and flew back. His armor, surprisingly, suffered minor damage. "Warp won't work. Must be a Black Pariah." Black Pariah's were beings who's Gene-Seed granted them immunity to the Warp, and all magic stemming from it as well. Leonidas' Psyker abilities were of no use in this battle, it was time to fight the old-fashion way.
Cue Battle Music: https://youtu.be/LhIS4FdS7co
The Berzerker charged once more, Chain-Axes roaring. Leonidas drew his Plasma Pistol with the speed and grace of a cowboy, and fired two shots, both landing on the Berzerker's pauldrons. It didn't stop him, only slowed him down. That's what Leonidas wanted. With the Berzerker slowed, Leonidas dashed to the side when he charged. He drew his Nemesis Power Halberd and slashed the Chaos Champion's feet. The Berzerker fell, as Leonidas went in for the kill, jabbing down his Force Halberd. The Berzerker spun around with the speed of a snake, catching the blade with his Chain-Axes. Sparks flew, as the Berzerker flipped Leonidas over. Leonidas landed on his feet, spinning his Nemesis Force Halberd in his hand. He fitted his left wrist with a Storm Bolter, he was ready. The Berzerker charged a third time, this time stopping in front of Leonidas, and began to swing his Axes in a bloody flurry. Leonidas managed to block the strikes, as he planted his left fist in the Berzerker's gut, and fired his Storm Bolter. The muzzle flash followed by the gradual chipping away of his armor made the Berzerker angry. And you don't need half a brain to know that pissing someone off with the word "Berzerker" in their title isn't a wise choice. The Berzerker headbutted Leonidas, making him stagger back. He slashed down with his Chain-Axes, only to have them parried once more by Leonidas' Halberd. While Leonidas was occupied by the Berzerker's Axes, he kneed him in the gut, followed by a slash by his Chain-Axe. Sparks flew as Leonidas was dropped to the ground. Leonidas growled as he pushed himself up with his arms. He looked back at the Berzerker, who's armor was literally giving off heat. Leonidas' helmet had a diagonal slice across it, as it chipped the black paint and revealed the steel material beneath. Even Leonidas thought it had to make him look more badass than he already was. The Berzerker's Axes caught flame, as he moved his head in a way one would do in order to pop the joints in ones neck. Leonidas took up his Halberd once more, this time sliding on a Power Fist to his left hand. It crackled with blue lighting as Leonidas twirled his Halberd. They both charged at once. They clashed, the two titans pushing against each other. They backed off, as they then engaged in a spectacle of CQC. Blocks, parries and strikes. Eventually, Leonidas got the upper hand, as he kicked the Berzerker's foot from under him, causing him to kneel. The Berzerker punched Leonidas' Halbred out of his hand, the sound of bones breaking heard from Leonidas' wrist. Leonidas fought through the pain, as he yelled in pain and triumph. He let loose a massive Power Fisted uppercut, sending the Khornate Berzerker flying. They were both breathing heavily, both's gear in taters, both sitting on the ground in tiredness. Then they began to laugh. They both chuckled at first, but then they were laughing like they've gone through this before. Like friends. A Agent of Chaos and a Member of Deathwatch. How? They both got up in pain, but they then reached each other and embraced in a hug of manliness, bashing their helmets against each other in a brotherly headbutt. "It is good to see you, Iratus." "Aye! It is good to see you to, Leonidas! My friend!"
open
