Making the Vanguard smile DISSAPEARED?!
So I had the "Making the Vanguard Smile" quest on me a few months ago and I completed it and got the SR-0 Swiftriver sparrow. However, yesterday I saw my friend with the SR-1 version of that sparrow, he said he did the same quest (he was there with me during the first part) and there was more to it like a crucible part and a sunless cell strike. I was confused because for me the quest was finished and there was nothing in my quest inventory and I went to check where you get back declined quests and it wasn't there either. Is this how it's supposed to be (this was the redbull quest) PLEASE HELP, I WANT THE SPARROW!!!!

Hello SpooderShan, The next step involves playing Rift. Check the Abandoned quests kiosk for the quest, you may not be able to see it because the kiosk has a bug now that you can not see any page but the first. To work around this issue, players may take quests from the first page of the Abandoned Quest Collection until quests that are on the later pages are cycled onto the first page. https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/14207

I don't remember what triggers the upgrade part of that, but you are still fine. I also completed the first part and had nothing what for a long time.
