Edit: Seems that if someone voted it's stupid, it's because the time of exclusives take to get to Xbox is so long.

Bungie isn't giving PS these exclusives for no reason They're doing it because Sony bought them off for it so Sony could get more sales

Im xbox and the only problem i have with them is the time they are exclusive. A year is just insane. Seeing Destiny's flow of updates i would say change it to 6 months or something. But 1 thing is for sure, for a game like this 1-3 months would be too short. Other then that, im fine with it. Its part of gaming.

Xbox player here. Absolutely do not care about them. How can people be mad? Sony forked over the money for it.. Microsoft did not... Logic people, logic.

I think if you have a problem with it, go bitch to Microsoft since they didn't partner up with bungie to get exclusives other than the Monte Carlo in year 1

It's definitely an inconvenience on the Xbox side, but there's no way in hell I'd change consoles for a couple extra guns, strikes, and armor. I could list the reasons I dislike the whole exclusivity thing but everyone else here has done a good job of hitting the nail on the head of why it's wonky, especially in Destiny's case. But it also shows how much it all goes to some of the PS players' heads. I mean geez, it's not all of them, but some are just head over heels Xbox player base bashing over it. Like calm down lol. Same thing goes for some of these Xbox guys. They act like its the end of the free world because of console exclusive content. I certainly dislike it, but it's not subtracting too much to the point Id avoid Destiny over my salt.

It depends it's not a big deal if it's just a month exclusive, but a year is crazy... But considering in destiny it's generally just like a level and a gun, and maybe a armor set I don't really care. It's just very situation depending on both time and content.

Exclusives shouldn't exist between consoles(Unless it's a game, then that's fine.)

4. Everyone knew Sony paid up and if you really wanted them you should have bought a PS4. Or play the waiting game.

2 RepliesVoted #1. I'm perfectly aware that Sony paid for them and that's fine. The thing that gets me is that they get them for a whole year. By the time year 2 came around, Hawkmoon was nothing compared to its former glory. I'd rather see both sides get exclusives, that way nobody feels left out, and would add a bit of uniqueness to our journeys. Again, I realize the business side of it all. Some of that money Sony out forward probably funded some of the content I enjoy. I'm not butthurt, I just like seeing a fair playing field, especially when players from both sides put down the same amount of money into the game.
