Edit: Seems that if someone voted it's stupid, it's because the time of exclusives take to get to Xbox is so long.

I got my Hawkmoon a week before TK came out. I felt some of the pain that the Xbox users felt.

If Zen Meteor was released alongside the other armor exotics that were advertised to us 7 months ago (now removed from the armory for us to pay for them later) I wouldn't care... If the exclusives were a month long exclusivity like every other DLC deal for every other game... I wouldn't care. The fact that there is nothing new at all for Xbox users in this rehashed content update and I have to wait a year where the exclusives will be irrelevant or not there at all (the armor most likely not be brought to Xbox) kinda sucks. I get that Sony paid for it, but a year seems excessive.

I understand the benefits of a company doing this but as an Xbox player it's a tad annoying to pay the same amount of money and not get the same amount of content. Platform discrimination this is 2016 guys.

1 ReplyI'm a ps4 player and I think the sniper sucks. I don't have it nor want it. It's perks aren't really useful. Instead of trying to get 3 kills I could be dps'ing the boss. On the exclusive gear, if it was exclusive to only xbox I wouldn't care. Sony paid for the gear which means xbox shouldn't have it because they aren't paying anything. It's business. I dont' like it but it's life deal with it.

The business model make no sense. I am not buying a console for the exclusive gear. I would buy one for a console exclusive game.

1 ReplyMy thoughts are, if I pay x dollars I should get y stuff. But ps plays x dollars and gets y stuff plus .0002. The perfectionist in me wants the extra .0002. I don't think it's a huge deal, but if I think about it it's annoying. Like a paper cut.

Im on ps4 and i think its dumb and all but holy shit some of these xbone babies get so butthurt they cant use a couple of guns and armor sets. Consoles always have exclusives and always will thats how it works.

Cocytus SR4 > Jade Rabbit, and Zen Meteor is just Stillpiercer with Explosive Rounds, with a perk that can be activated by the very best/luckiest crucible players and people who shoot low level mobs with their secondary. The most idiotic thing is the length of time. 1 month exclusives are no problem to me, hell 3 months is tolerable. But when I'm waiting an entire year to get the same access?

Microsoft has used this model in the past with Activision's other games and it didn't bother anybody. However I think year long exclusives are extreme. Maybe 3 months tops would be tolerable.

A company wants to earn money, thus they obliged. Anyone upset about PS exclusives shouldn't blame Bungie or Sony, but Microsoft instead. I really don't care though.

I'm on xbox and frankly I've ran out of fu[u]c[/u]ks to give. I mean, it'd be nice and fair and all for us to have them but bungie/Activision/sony are not nice or fair, so whatever.

Most exclusivity is pretty dumb. One end is happy and the other end feels shafted.
