It does actually, at 325 you do about 500-1000 more damage to warpriest, which turns into 5000-10000 more damage at golg(that's per sniper shot btw) not to mention the more damage you to mobs in general. Makes it very, very easy.

The damage delta goes by 10 and it's a 1% dif
-
No it doesn't. Damage scales to enemy level. Been that way since day 1. You can go into the raid at 321-335, which is recommended 320, and will do the same damage as a level 320.
-
While you're right that it scales, you're wrong about where it maxes out. It always maxed out above the enemies level by a bit. Hence why Crota on normal was even easier being 34 as opposed to 32.
-
Because Crota hard was 33 and you only maxed out at 32. It was easier because you could now do level 33 damage, even as a 34. If we go play Crota now, we will do the same exact damage as a level 33.
-
I was talking about normal mode.
-
Normal was easy as a 31. You're still gonna do the same damage now as they would. Same with VoG, normal AND hard. You will currently do the same damage as a 30 and 26
-
No...lol I was doing noticeably higher damage to warpriest and golg, there is a difference.
-
At the sisters and oryx, the 320 light parts,I was doing exactly the same damage as a light level 326 as I was doing at light level 320 with the ToM. During the 1st 2 bosses with BS on I may have been doing more damage but not more then a few hundred points, still 11k something crit on warpriest without tether or WoL,15k something with tether alone, and 22k something with both tether and WoL. Actually did less DPS overall on the warpriest due to running out of sniper ammo at the 3rd round of the brand.
-
People aren't getting it.
-
No you wasn't.
-
Except I was...
-
You obviously haven't been playing this game long enough. Level caps to your enemies. Once you hit 320 light, you don't do anymore damage for every light level you go up.
-
I would advise leveling above 320 and doing the raid this week, and you will notice that you do more damage, since you haven't, you shouldn't be talking.
-
I'm above 320. I've done the raid this week. I've been playing this game since day one, something you haven't done. You're wrong, just accept that.
-
Currently all your charcters are below 320 and showing you haven't done the raid this week(at least to completion) and I'm not wrong, if I wasn't going to work soon if take a video of warpriest or gold and show the difference.
-
Hey pal. If the raid caps at 320 light. That means if you are over 320 light everything gets scaled down. It's been like that since day one. For everything. So yea..... Just like you go run the level 3 first strike, and you are not shooting them for thousands any more.
-
So because my characters aren't showing above 320 right now means what? You see what is equipped so you clearly see I can be above 320. And I haven't completed the raid, you're right. I stated in a comment above that I haven't completed it and I probably won't. I played with a group that were just like you. Asking for something that doesn't make a difference.
-
Lol...I never said I ask for these things, just that they make a difference, my requirements for hard was 310+ and the update didn't change that, but I usually join groups rather than make them anyway....either way light level makes a difference in the raid, and I have seen it firsthand.
Yea.
Day one player also, your argument is valid and he doesn't understand. To be a higher light level recommended for any activity just makes you more viable as you can tank more damage due to increased defence yet cannot output more damage based on the recommended light level for the given activity. Been the case since launch haha
-
It's not that hard to understand haha. The difference is the amount of damage you take. Sometimes it's not even worth it lol.
-
But is it really necessary to have? That is my point.
-
You said 5 light levels isn't going to make it easier, but it does by a large margin, high light has never been necessary, a group of 305s could beat the hard raid if they are decent, but it makes the whole thing smoother to be high light, and for people who don't want to be stuck on a part of a raid for over an hour with inexperienced/low light people, a high light requirement is extremely helpful to have.
-
"Low light level people" so 320 is low for kings fall? Alright.
-
320, no but you never said 320 in the first place, my point: high light is quite helpful and makes the raid faster.
