Great in pve. If you are running a strike or playing in an area that has high volume of enemies you will be getting max use out of it. Shielded enemies will still take a big hit from Zens impact but you will not proc the 4th round. It's a fun rifle and does enough damage without the exotic perk that it hasn't left my special slot since getting it.
