1 ReplyI definitely care about VR, I have an Oculus Dk2 and its awesome. My official version is on preorder. Can't wait! There aren't that many games so it is sort of niche, but man I played Alien Isolation and Elite Dangerous on my dk2 and it is mind blowing! It without a doubt isn't a gimmick, but I do believe it will remain a niche market. Unfortunately the types of games that work best on the rift aren't very popular to begin with. Adventure games, sims, exploration games, those work best. But an FPS, not so much. It really will be a time will tell, but if nothing else I suspect the cost will keep it niche market for a while to come. But me personally, I'm super excited!
