I've been using Titan with Hammers of Sol since they first handed those golden bad boys to us months back. I love the Hammers. Here's the problem. When Bungie decided the hammers were too much and nerfed them, they supposedly gave us better melee to help compensate. I have yet to see that. I have used every balance I can to get my melee up to what should be effective and it's still a big fat MEH. Now it could be the hit detection issue I've been reading about but who knows?
I'm a freaken TITAN! The class name speaks for itself. No, I don't think Titan's are better than the other classes but there are different classes with different strengths and weakness for a reason. If the Titan class is based on being a burly, strong character then why is my melee like that of a five year child? I will watch my fist connect with some hunter's face and they just dance away!!!!
A Titan's fist smash should be a bit stronger than other classs, especially since Titan's get the least amount of boosts compared to Warlocks and Hunters with their Banshee weapons gifts etc. Let's not talk about that godawful Fabian Strategy!!!! Look at what the Hunter can do now between the side step, stripping away supers, those freaken ridiculous shadowshots which are more effect than hammers most of the time, and invisibility.
Do any other Titan's have an issue with this? or with the fact that Hunters seem to be so freaken over powered in PVP now? Why does it seem like when they want to balance the subclasses(since Hunters were so ridiculously weaker in the beginning in PVP) they wind up tipping everything severely to one end or the other? Why can't they just make it more even across the board?

It's hit detection. Bungie's "dermige rifree (derp!)" Has broken blade dance, sunpuncher (I will never call hammer titans anything else) melee, and shoulder charge. The attacks (and effects) connect about as well as an icyhot slathered dildo and a surprised puma butt.
