In our quest to add games to our new Nintendo 64 collection, $20 (great deal!) later my girlfriend and I now have Pokemon Stadium.
It's cool.
However, we get frustrated by the fact that half of our games are spent with us just switching Pokemon to bettwr match our opponents. The revolving door doesn't seem to stop until someone caves and says, "-blam!- this shit". Is there better way to play so neither player feels the need to degrade competition quality?
Also, how much better is Stadium 2? Lord is it expensive.

Mmm yeah I hated that I had to choose only three of my Pokemon at times. Now I do what the person below said. Random buttons! If you're playing say the gym leaders or in the stadium though, the Pokemon have different move sets than the ones your Pokemon have (unless you just so happen to have a gb Pokemon game to connect). Also the mini games are fun! I love ekans hoop hurl
