So I'm planning on building a PC for the first time and I have a budget of 1500$ I've never built a PC before. Is this a good setup?

Specs:
Processor: Intel Core i5-6600
Motherboard: Asus Z170 Pro Gaming
Memory: Crucial Ballistix Sports DDR4 2400 (8GB)
Graphics Card: GTX 980
Power Supply: Corsair CX600M 600 watt 80 Plus Bronze
Primary Storage: Samsung 850 EVO 250GB
Secondary Storage: Western Digital Black 2TB WD2003FZEX
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
I know it's a lot of money for my first PC but I've got no expenses and nothing else to spend my money on anyways.
My main concern is that mouse & keyboard as they're currently a bit too expensive for my tastes
What's the cheapest good gaming keyboard and monitor I can get?

If I'm not mistaken a Z170 board is an overclockable board and you have a locked multiplier on your CPU. Maybe consider a 6600K or a 6700K to get the full potential from your mother board. Other than that I'd honestly wait until CES when Nvidia comes out with their new line of GPUs and get that 980 a little cheaper and invest in an extra 8GB of RAM. Good luck. Cheers!
