Hello my fellow Guardians,
I threw up a post last week just marvelling at the number of excellent, riff loving humans I've encountered through the course of playing Destiny, and I was pretty blown away with the response. I have spoken to so many people about new music and have so much to work my way through it's staggering! Feeling free to share the tunes you love is what it's all about, and if you've got any suggestions or just want to support bands you love, share them around in here!
I stream Destiny on Twitch almost every day now that my internet is finally good enough for me to do so (-blam!-in' Australian Internet). I asked the question in my previous post if anyone knew of any other fellow Streamers who were really into Heavy music, and I didn't really hear of anyone :(
I'm going to go ahead with my own little Heavy Metal journey and fly the flag on Twitch, but it's far more fun with friends. What I want to ask now is if there is anything in particular that the part of the Destiny community who loves Heavy tunes would like to see broadcast? Ultimately I'd like to build a community around the music and the infinite number of sub genre's Metal contains, but i'm really just looking for community feedback as to what that might be. I was fortunate enough to have plenty of folks swing by my Twitch after reading the post last week, I took some requests and even gave a band that a follower plays in a spin. (They are called Snake way, well worth checking out on Spotify!)
I'd love to hear from anyone with any suggestions, ideas or feedback at all, or if you just want to be involved in building a Sub-community for Metalheads in Destiny. You can write me here, but given the short life span of these forum posts it's definitely worth getting at me at the Twitter and Twitch links below!

If this is something you'd like to support, please don't forget to Like the post, and comment if possible. Keeping this post trending is really the best way to help and spread the word to our like minded Guardians!
Thank you for your time :)
Cheers!

this may be a bit off-topic, but I was wondering if there's a clan of metalheads - 'couse I would not mind joining such one. Music is a big part of my life, so having been in a team of players who share the same passion for music can be cool as f***. There's nothing like destroying in PVP while listening to Nile for instance..;-) Anyway feel free to add me: Silesium, I'm from EU. Horns up!

YES! Metal and rock! Current favorites are Mastodon, Opeth, Porcupine Tree/Steven Wilson and Machine Head (every time I listen to them I think " this is how metal is done"). All time favorites are Rush, Thin Lizzy, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Metallica and Sound Garden. Like other genres but always go back to metal/rock. Forever a fan of Fates Warning and Helloween too! Great post!

I wish my school schedule wouldn't interfere with all the awesome streams, but the short bits I've seen look very nice. It's truly a shame you don't get a lot of viewers (at least not when I'm around) so here I go! I am now part of the Log publicity campaign machine! SPREAD THE WORD, SPREAD THE WORD! Tell your friends, tell your family, WATCH THIS STREAM!

I really dig Slipknot's self titled album for just getting in the fray and fuycking shit up. Chimaira's riffs remind me of the self titled Slipknot album aswell but only a few songs at most.

I'm relatively new to Destiny (I joined just before the end of Year 1) and from what I have found there are still plenty of people that haven't completed or even begun some of the earlier raids, and even King's Fall for that matter. Maybe you could have some run through's of that content and maybe carry a few beginner's as well? I personally haven't done Vault of Glass, Crota, or even the Prison of Elders levels as most people are well and truly done with these elements of the game. Combining a tutorial style with some sherpa action thrown in would be really helpful for the newer guardians in the community. As for music I find it hard to go past Parkway Drive when I'm shooting stuff in the face, but I also love the older metal options such as classic Metallica, Pantera etc. Interesting conversation point log, great work for brining this to light. :)
