Fun? Yes.
Practical? No.
Blade dancer and striker are god awful in pve.
Having a striker create more orbs is much less useful than absolutely anything a defender will do. And you can make an orb making build with a defender.

If I combine my striker with a hunter's tether on Oryx I can create 6-7 orbs plus his to fuel all our supers including the two bubble titans. You don't need 3 titans running bubble in the raid 2 will do just fine. I personally prefer to run the relic on oryx as my striker as it has a bit more agility and the other reasons stated above.
