[i]Yeah, it was some years ago back when i was on my 20s...28 to be precise, a few years before i got married, It was only me and my squad mates the old Nova-8 Chem-trooper Battalion , we where just eighth but we where enough to make a battalion run in fear, Few Troops can say they have survived Mars Chemical warfare.
We where Taking Garrison on an Old Building. We had just cleaned up the City so we where all just having a break, I was on watch duty to Our Commanders orders, man was she tough with me.......Middle of the night and I hear them, A UNSC Battalion of Scorpions if we where on Mars it would be a simple task but we had no backup or Sagmanks to fight back their tanks.
Only one option...bring down the city over their own Tanks! it sounded crazy when the commander came up with it..bu we only had enough corrosive charges to bring down a building.
SO was the plan, we had to Lure them into the trap Destroy it.....it was a good run to say the leas.
I was the bait. they gave me all of Our kinetic shields and told me to lure them. the moment the 10 cannons aimed at me i ran like a mother-blam!-er, Hell wasnt for the shields id be krusk i took a couple of hits from those tank shells.
But the moment i heard the corrosive charges go off man, it got ugly the Building bagan coming down over me It was scary to say the least. but i made it out as the Scorpions got crushed.
After that i got the day off and fittingly the same whiskey i am about to re-taste after 21 years.
