Me and my team are working on an app for Destiny (but will be expanded to other games in the future) and we need some market research. It'd be really helpful if as many of you as possible answer this survey. It's not too long and it will help us create a better app/service for the gaming community. Thank you for your time, much appreciated. EDIT: So I'd like to give some more information about the platform now. We want this to be a community driven app. We are all gamers and we want to make a platform for gamers to feel comfortable and to be able to create teams instead of playing with randoms. Without going into too much detail, the way the app will work is it will ask you a few questions about yourself (in regards to how you game, stats..etc) and it will intelligently connect you with other gamers of similar skill and style. There are so many problems facing fireteam matchmaking. For games like Destiny that don't offer in-game matchmaking for certain game modes, it's sometimes hard for gamers to reach out and build a team. Even when there is matchmaking, it's random based on factors irrelevant to your skill or play style(or so it seems). How many times when playing PvP alone do you get stuck on the worst teams and you have to carry? We want to take the pain out of the matchmaking process, fireteams should be customized for each player, intelligently. Another example is raids, how many times have you made a thread and just waited...and waited...and couldn't get a response, or you posted on a thread, but no one invited you? Or you end up raiding for 5+ hours because your fireteam lied about their competency? It's something I've had to deal with before my friends started playing Destiny and we want to fix that for gamers. This is why we are building this platform, and hopefully we have enough interest in it to actually make it work the way we want. As you can imagine this system would require a good amount of people on at any given time.
