Offpotic, whats the strangest reason ye got fired from or quit a job?

Ive been here for almost 2 years and im only now getting that joke *facedesk*

A week after my last day, I received a call from my old employer saying they had to talk to me, so I stopped by. Apparently, they needed to talk to me because I missed a week of work. And to let me know they were firing me for missing that week of work. It was incredibly confusing.

4 RepliesI was supposedly getting fired for allegedly sleeping on the job but my supervisor called me and told me that; but he was the second shift supervisor and was told this by the first shift supervisor, who was a dick. Anyways I go in the next day to hand in my badge and work stuff and the warehouse manager was like what's going? And I was like you guys fired me last night, and he was like no we didn't, and I was like oh.....well......I quit then.
