They can't nerf sniper because it would devastate pve which would be awful for on of the best things in pve to be ruined by pvp which has happened like 6 times already(shotguns auto rifles hand cannons etc)

It's bunnies choice to effect PvE last year they nerfed shotguns but buffed the damage in PvE
