They're repetitive. They're uninteresting. It was fun for a while, but the gimmick has been thoroughly played out, and I'm tired of getting 6+ superhero movies every goddamn year. That's money Hollywood could be spending on new and original ideas instead.
It doesn't help that they're generally not very good either. If all you care about is punching and pew-pew, then you're fine. You probably think these movies are fantastic.
But if you're looking for something that has some actual substance, some emotional weight, or an intelligent plot, then you're probably disappointed with the constant barrage of bland, corporate glorified toy commercials we're forced to endure, year after year, that feel like they were written in a board room somewhere.
tl;dr: Superhero movies are boring, shallow animal feed for the complacent masses.

I guess you can say Deadpool is a superhero movie (kinda) because it involves superheroes and I thought that one was good.
