Honestly at this point I think Bungie's plan is to kill PvE and make it a pvp only game like Titanfall. There's no other reason that nerfs in one type of game should hit the other. This is another reason I say PvP should be totally separate from the game like every other game in the world that isn't a battle arena. That or Bungie's trying to break the game so Activision will replace them with a new studio.
