Raids. Im just not at all interested. The most id like to do in that area is jump in on a Crota checkpoint so i can get the shader, ship, etc. Beyond that i simply have no desire to plod through an entire Raid.

Honestly raids are potentially the best part of this game as long as you have a clan/steady team to run it with

I play solo, and i don't want to join a clan. I just simply don't like Raids. *shrug*

Your call. But IMO you are missing out on some of the best parts of the game. Not sure I'd recommend starting on them now, but be in D1 or D2, the next raid that comes out I wholeheartedly encourage you to have a go at it while it's still fresh for everyone. If you don't like it fair enough. But not even trying it is like saying you completed Final Fantasy VII without getting the golden chocobo, Knights of the Round and beating Ultimate or indeed Emerald (or the slightly easier Ruby) Weapons. They are big optional challenges there to test you. Albeit in the days before Google and YouTube they were tougher, but the point still stands.

I actually did do everything you mentioned in your example (LOVED FF7 by the way) and one of my favorite accomplishments is beating Dead Space 2 on the highest possible difficulty. Talk about a challenge. The difference is, i did those things solo. I didn't rely on anyone, and the mechanics of those challenges weren't designed in such a way as to FORCE me to rely on others to get through. Raids force me to rely on another person's skill, and i absolutely hate that. If i can't solo it, i don't want to do it, and if i have to do it with a team, then it just isn't fun for me.

I don't like Raids at all. They're just tedious to me. My early experiences with VoG when it first came out were awful, and Crota wasn't much better. I'm not even going to bother trying King's Fall. Just not my thing at all.

The crota raid is actually pretty simple to 3 man it if you don't wanna cheese.

That's one of the issues im having. Not many folks who want to do it on 360.

I'm actually on 360 as well as ps4. I got another friend on 360 as well we could run it, if we're all on at the same time of course :p

Yeah, that's the other kicker, heh. I have my daughter (she's 17 months old) most days. Hard to plan for anything that takes time with her running around.

Yeah I can see how that'd be complicated.. I have ms so some days I'm just not able to play well with others that aren't patient :p
