The "Regicide" mission gained my attention. There could be something hidden, but it could just be programmed badly. But since we're talking about a game from bungie, I would rather say there is something hidden.
- You can somehow enable "Inception-Mode" in this mission there are two ways. One involves sword jumping, the other one is only done with game mechanics.
Sword jumping:
After you killed Ta’aun and Baxx, you go thru the portal, walk into the dreadnaught where some invisible platforms spawn that lead you over to those three statues. But don't go over, go ahead to the right side and with an easy sword jump you cna jump on the next plattform. From there you can actually walk through the whole dreadnaught.
Game mechanics:
If you already got your exotic sword, you already know those three knights that are located on the path which you take through the Alak'Hul Strike. You have to Kill then within 30 seconds or with one super (I don't know I always got them to low health and finished them with my stormtrance.). And you will see that the door opens, This door leads you right into the area where you land right after the first portal of the mission. You can know go on into the next room (enemies will spawn, but the door to Ta’aun and Baxx won't open), or you can proceed the mission to the part where you go through the first portal and then go back thtough this now open door.
- Another thing that got my attention is the strong gravity / slowmotion part:
when you go back there and never wiped before, when you enter the part of the dreadnaught where the first portal is, the portal is still there. And you can somehow only walk in slowmotion. Like gravity would be super strong now. But you can do shadestep and use your sword to move faster. But the portal is not activated. The only enemies are some kabal near their ship. Could not found anything here (Same behaviour in "Not daily" mode.)
- You can somehow go on patrol mode, but it's not the actual patrol mode. No other guardians here, but some parts are activated and other not.
Acitve:
- Wormsinger Rune: Can be placed and will call a level 41 Ogre (on daily)
- Agonarch Rune: Can be placed, could not try because I did not have one.
- Ultra knight and the panels to open the entrance to him
Inactive:
- Court of Oryx can't be used.
- The Court area won't deal any damage when you are walking on it.
- The pillars on which you jump on during the Alak'Hul strike are gone.
- The "A Scent is the Key" chest is not there.
I know most of this stuff can even be done when it's not the daily. But why should the designers take out stuff like CoO and the chests but leave the wormsinger and agonarch thing in there. And the three knight of course that open the door. Why did they not deactivate this door? Because if it would only be able to get back to patrol via sword glitch, I would definitely see it just as a glitch. But it cna be done via game mechanics without using any kind of glitch.
There are many possible ways to go.
- Alak'Hul strike. There is still one door (in the room right after the first portal, where oyu can jump down to get a calcified fragment), which no one ever could see opening (But a light is activated when you jump down there).
- Shield Brothers strike. You can go to the Ultra Knight and kill him. The door to the Shield Brother won't open. There could be a mechanism to open it.
- Active the first Portal somehow again to get trough it again (In the room with strong gravity).
When the mission is on the next time, I will try to use Wormsinger and the Agonarch rune.

The gravity effect is mostlikely a bug. It looks like that it starts as soon as you step into the portal. While you go trough the portal for the first time, your screen goes black and you super and grenades are deactivated. When you go back to the "Mausoleum"-Area, it just feel exactly like you go torugh a portal. Just you don't get teleported, you're again at the same spot where the effect started. This effect even takes place when the mission is not the daily.
We activated the Agonarch Rune, Worsinger Rune and the Skyburner Command Beacon at the same time. We killed the Cabal Champion a bit too slow, so he just went away after some time. Killing those three champions quite a challenge, because you have to kill then solo. Skyburner and Wormsinger Champions spawn at the same place, but the Agonarch Rune Champion is where the Warden Knights would be. Next time the mission is on we will again try to kill the three champions in time. Even if it's nothing, it's an interessting challenge.
