- Faction only missions
- faction V faction crucible
- faction rewards for not switching #loyalty
- faction sparrows - diff level ones based on loyalty and faction standing
I've been FWC the whole time and for what? Faction alignments are meaningless as far as story lines are concerned
There should be significant rewards for being a level 10 faction etc
Factions need storylines, backstory etc - there's so much there that's under-utilised in terms of gameplay and story

I literally just got on to propose almost this exact idea. Only mine involved choosing each faction one at a time, completing each of their quests, and unlocking a strike once all is complete. The crucible "new faction war" should drop up to 335ll faction based gear, but you don't have access to it until you complete the strike. So it would add a new strike, compete with the new light level, add a few pieces of armor and weapons per faction, a new crucible mode, 3 new exotics, and even more lore. " guardians, we must prepare for the old factions uprising. They've banded together to take us out. You must train, fight for you're chosen faction, show the enemy how far you're willing to go to protect the city, and most importantly, show no mercy" - Lord Shax. Remove the mercy rule. give people a faction level advantage, no much, but enough that a level 10 have a very low chance at beating a level 20. So the tower actually ends up fighting some past faction, allowing us to get to see all the tower guardians in action in some cinematic clips. How bad ass would that be?

This is an awesome idea 👍🏻

Likewise sir!
-
Agreed also ghosts
-
The factions have lore if you read the cards.
-
Oh serious? I shall do that but it'd be cooler if they incorporated that into actual storylines don't you think?
-
You can also get bits and pieces of hidden lore and things that the cards don't openly say
-
That could be said for alot of the lore
-
Loyalty can't really be measured tho. And I'm already half way to my FWC cloak. And I already have my DO faction cloak. I agree to the quest lines and rewards but I think that they should give more rep to all faction gain.
-
You can measure loyalty tho, they have the stats to see whether or not users change factions and the length of time they've been with them. I've always been FWC and figured I'd stay with them as Bungie was bound to do something at some point but seemingly no?
-
What about us collectors who want all the exotics.
-
It's a fair point - just have Bungie set a min time link to achieve "loyalty" and then you're free to pursue exotics (or vice versa)
-
But wouldn't that halt progress toward rep gain. I need my cloak of oblivion for max light but I want the other two as well.
