1.if a scope gives you more accuracy or damage do you actually hAve to zoom in with it or does it automatically give you the boost?
2. does scavenging affect yellow drops?
3. does dps really matter? people been telling me critical damage and critical damage chance is more important but when i take off an attachment that boosts reload speed the dps goes down even tho it has more critical damage im just confused .
4. why do some areas already have nobody to kill ?
5. what is really the best weapons in the game?

SeverCD (guy right below me) hit it right on the head. Only thing I have to add to his great reply is about scavenging. It has been stated by Ubisoft Devs that scavenging does not affect drop rates at all. It affects qualities of dropped items. For instance, you have a flat % rate of high end drops that cannot be altered. The difference between a guy with 20% scavenging and a guy with 200% scavenging is the guy with the high scavenging gets better yellow drops (they both get the same # in theory) but one guy gets mods and weapons/armor with crap rolls, while the 200% guy gets decent quality items more frequently.

Edited by Frizzika: 4/5/2016 2:34:25 PM1.Accuracy is the bloom on the reticle on screen so yes the effect still works while not being zoomed in 2.Yes, the higher the scavenging the more likely yellows will drop 3.DPS absolutely does not matter, go for a crit/stability/accuracy build with good abilities and you will be good 4. On the map in the darkzone, if the landmark is purple that means there are npc's there, if it is white there aren't. They will regularly respawn every 10 minutes or so (at least that's what it feels like) also don't forget about the subway bosses, so many people do 5. The common consensus is that the high end vector is the best weapon but that doesn't mean anything if it has a bad roll, even less if you can't use it well. Just go with what you enjoy and you will be a ok

Just want to clear up tht scavenging does not affect drop rates. It only affects the quality of the drops you receive. The Devs stated this in one of their live streams. For the rest of your questions everyone else here answered those correctly.

best weapon is based on play styles, situation and personal opinion. you need to ask yourself that question.

The scavenging is all I will address and this should be taken with a grain of salt because it's speculation as far as i know. But I am told that if you run scavenging above 100% it resets due to a glitch to the tens number....so 115% scavenging is actually 15%.....

Edited by Bake8935: 4/5/2016 5:22:03 AM1. I don't believe you have to be zoomed in to get the added accuracy. 2. Yes, definitely. 3. Not really, but it's a good barometer. It really depends on what type of weapon you're using. 4. Someone else in your server cleared the area before you got there. They will respawn in time. 5. SMG's basically. The Navy MP5 seems to be the new favorite for high level players, but the Vector is also quite good. The Aug is technically the best of the bunch, but good luck finding a High End level 31 Aug, because there's no blue print for one.

1. It tightens the shot pattern, but no, you don't have to ads 2. My understanding is it affects division tech drops/how much ammo you pick up from bodies ect. Not so much HE drop rate. 3. Stack crit. The DPS number given doesn't mean too much. High crit % + high crit damage is going to give you better results in the end than a faster reload by 0 .04 seconds. 4. In dz? Because someone has already killed them. 5. First wave m1a

anyone else have an opinion?

1- No, you get the bonus automatically. 2- Not sure, there's a debate over what it actually affects. 3- Raw damage and critical damage are more important. 4- Someone has probably already been there recently. 5- SMGs are the best right now.
