You assume when someone says descope it means they will be pulled out of their scope when their shot in the toe. No. Amd it wouldn't be implemented in pve.
Body shots wouldn't descope only headshots. Body shots would actually drop your entire reticle down each time you're hit causing you to rejust you aim. If you don't reajust you'd be staring at the ground. The way it works now... well it just doesn't work. There isn't any reaction when your hit while aiming. If there were there wouldn't be an issue.
All I'm saying is taking shots to the dome and still pulling off the crit is bogus. It shouldn't happen.. ever.
Right now snipers can be used in any situation and according to bungie "relying on one weapon in all situation isn't something we want" their explanation for all their nerfs were because the weapons was able to be used for every situation .
The autos range was to long causing it to be use to much. Nerfed. The pulse had scout range, nerf. The handcanons had pulse range. Nerf.
If bungie wants to live up to that word then they need to look at snipers hard core and figure out a way to make snipers not be able to be used up close with quick snipes. Or while jumping. Or while running.
Most importantly while taking crit shots with high caliber rounds. Lol
If they want to live up to that word they need to make them most effective at long stationary range. Or else their just big ol hypocrites.
