To me, it's the ocean. Sure space is scary too, since there's no sound nor oxygen. But it sure as hell is fascinating. The ocean is on a whole different level. We've explored less than 5% of the depths and we don't know what could be down there.

I'm terrified just thinking about the ocean right now.

ocean cuz water is my friend

We all know Cthulhu is down there in the ocean somewhere, and that's probably not all. There's lots of other stuff, the Kraken, Leviathan, Aliens, you name it. Seriously though, I've always thought we should be putting more into exploring our own planet - especially the oceans- more than exploring space, but that's just me. I'm absolutely terrified and fascinated by the oceans and what we could find - secrets to our past, discoveries, life forms, cave systems, etc. I wouldn't doubt it one bit if we did find something seriously crazy one day - aliens/intelligent life forms, creatures - who knows... Space is scary and fascinating as well, but it just seems so far away and the oceans are well... right here with us and we don't even know what's down there. Just wow...

The ocean terrifies me

You can see better in space, see what's coming.
-
The Kraken is down there.

Space, you will never reach the end!

Where's the both opinion?

Edited by Skatch142: 4/2/2016 9:45:52 PMThe ocean is fascinating because of that. I'm not the type to be afraid of the unknown, (why fear it if ya don't even know whether it exists of not?) but with space there are many more possible dangers with exploration: no oxygen, all other solar systems are extremely far away, no other planet in our solar system has a breathable atmosphere, stars are hot, black holes are probably the heaviest things in existence, aggressive alien races (probably just afraid of us because they don't know what we are.) there are so many more things to fear in space... I would still love to explore it though.

Well we can only see so far into space, so I'd opt for it. We know the ocean ends on the other hand.

I am deathly afraid of sharks, fish that can kill me, jellyfish, deep water, not being able to see clearly, that something will be outside of my peripheral vision, and yeah

The Middle East

watched Cloverfield again last night at 1am and wherever something like that could come from... that place is something I would try to avoid

Edited by qwej: 4/2/2016 10:12:17 PMIn Space no one can hear you scream. But this all depends if I choose Space would I be on a rocket mission or something and if I choose Ocean would I be diving in a sub?

Whichever will kill me slowest and most painfully

The nether

In the ocean I get to say from hells heart I stab at thee while dying, and get a giggle
-
*Prepares laser face* I'd rather die from lack of oxygen in space than die choking on water and my own blood in water.
-
I'd rather suffocate in space than drown.
-
Aliens could find my body in space
-
There's things in the ocean that will swallow you up. In space, there's nothing - assuming you have food/air forever.
-
I think percentage-wise we've seen less of space than the ocean

Cthulu lives in the Ocean.

Edited by Dr_Sorethumb: 4/3/2016 7:05:14 AMSpace. Although it's some way off, I would imagine what we could find out there would make the weirdest of ocean creatures look mundane.
