So been playing some Iron Banner and I have to ask....
Why does it seem like sometimes my bullet are doing no damage to the other players?
I am not talking lag where the hits register after a while, I mean it full on seems like my bullets hit them, even shows them reacting to it, but taking no damage whatsoever?
I dunno if this is damage referee or what, but was hoping that maybe other people were having the same issue and could help me out here.
Edit: This occured while using the Suros DIS-43 scout rifle.

My throwing knives haven't been damaging people tonight. They'll burn as if they've taken the damage but no health will disappear,even after a few seconds.

I don't know what goes on in this game, but I just move on to the next game & a new lobby. I know my Suros pulse rifle takes 3 head shots to kill most enemy, but some people have extra armour settings so I understand I may need an extra 1 or 2 shots, but I've emptied clips into some people (30 bullets) and still not taken them out. If this happens too often I will quit the game & find another match. I don't have time or the patience for that.

I had this problem for a few games today. I raged... But seeing this makes me feel better haha I remember it feeling like I couldn't damage the other team but they could damage me with no signs of lag

It's much improved. The servers are still dogshit though. Matchmaking is worse than ever...5v6 in IB, a competitive game mode, smh. Surely games should start 4v4, 5v5 or 6v6 but no, Bungie logic. And let's not forget that 6 man teams can play IB against solo players, more Bungie logic.

It feels like ever since the floating bodies and the wall monsters incident from February hit detection in general has been pretty inconsistent, especially melees.

I don't notice it much in Destiny but it happens a lot on Division and been experiencing a lot more lag in Division recently.

In iron banner light level is everything..."with that being said", I've had the same issues from time to time. Unloading on someone then getting close enough to change to melee or shotgun and still not being able to put them down. Got to love the crucible! Lol

Its either lag or bad aim. One of those two. You could think you hit but really you didnt, the slightest movement of your stick can make you miss a seemingly spot on shot.

I read about an exploit and I think the poster said ability kills or grenade kills would kill the player using the exploit.

It's the curse of the Iron Banner. A lot of funny things always happen every time it comes around. Thankfully my luck has been better the past two events.

Edited by Jericho_Wolf99: 4/2/2016 10:07:03 PMYea that's the way I feel with most guns when I shoot anyone they don't die in banner I shot alot of people so close that my shotgun should be in there mouth an there dead but I shoot them they brush it off there half health an I'm full health they shoot me an I die like what the hell ( also I went threw a couple matches just useing my shotgun if they can walk threw my bullets an not die so can I an I did for awhile an it worked )

I've experienced this with my fusion rifle, I see all the bolts hit them, yet no damage at all. Yet the majority of the team is in green.

I experience a similar problem sometimes. However I'm guessing you're talking about your Dark Blade's Spite on your Titan. I've felt like that Fusion Rifles are currently broken in their hit detection. Like shots from my Thesan FR4 do 49 damage each and there are 7 projectiles. 49x7=343 damage. I'll shoot them within the correct range and full stability... and only 3 of the shots register. However it seems the Damage Referee only effects yellow bar players and Destiny's weird match making algerithm seems to put players on the other side of the planet in the same match room. So by the time the data is processed and has gone through, they've already killed you and two other players XD.
