Damage Ref is a (BLEEP)ing JOKE
Of the last 20 IB games that were losses:
5 were won by red bar warriors
7 won by yellow bar
8 won by green bar
Averages players per game:
Red bar: 1.3
Yellow bar: 1.5
Green bar: 3.2
Justify it any B.S. Way you want, but this is ridiculous. A red bar player should take a LOT longer to kill a green bar than vice-versa. The Damage Ref seemed to be working before, WTF happened? Every time they seem to get it dialed in, they #+?& it up again!

So bungie when your damage ref going to take effect just shot a guy four times in head got a head shot kill but he had to run away and throw his nade and kill me before he died funny enough he had a shitty connection. I thought people with shitty connections will have a shitty time not a deal good time. Looks like I'm going to have to buy a shitty ass modem so I can actually play this piece of shit online game

1 ReplyI figured out what Damage Referee actually is yesterday: So when people watch sports, and their team is losing, they yell at the TV, particularly the referees. "C'mon Ref! Open your -blam!-ing eyes!" This has earned Refs the nickname "blind zebras". So when someone survives a shotgun enema, tanks two Truth rockets, and is generally unkillable, what do we say? "What the -blam!-! Did you see that! This is bullshit!" Damage Referee is the imaginary guy overseeing the match that we all yell at. They don't make good calls, or make the game more fair. But yelling at a TV is insanity. So to keep us from being institutionalized, Bungie added a [i][b]Damage Referee[/b][/i] to yell at.

I'm currently at 7 loses, entire teams of yellow / red bars winning. I had several people I shot...I died because they didn't take damage, then as I'm waiting for revive it pops up on the screen that I just got a kill.....opponents die from me shooting them after I'm dead.....whole lot of good that does me.

Ridiculous that in this game lagging is rewarded so much. People with good connections are constantly getting punished.
