That pretty much sums up the entirety of Destiny. You should know better by now than to expect Bungie to deliver on what they show and tell you.

I often hear people complain that we didn't get the "rich and cinematic storytelling" we were promised. That is subjective. When I hear the design lead verbally tell me I am going to get something and that thing features in a trailer it makes complete sense to expect it.
