Many players, including myself, would greatly appreciate it if you would remove micro transactions from Destiny. With the recent announcements about the April update, these micro transactions are getting very very close to"pay to win" or "pay for power". I recommend removing micro transactions from Destiny and have silver be obtainable in game through special Eververse bounties and quests. Or sell a season pass that includes dlc expansions and these limited live events all for one price and have all micro transactions drop through rng in game. These changes would greatly enhance the experience of all Destiny players.

  • The Sterling Treasure is easily obtainable through everyday play. Also you get 3 (for free) every week. The packages don't give you any real in-game bonus, they are only for cosmetics as have all the previous microtransactions.

  • The sterling treasure armor has random rolls and the infusion is now 1:1, also reputation boosters can drop from them, making it easier to level up factions and get other rewards.

  • And that does not cause pay to win. Now if they were selling 350 gear, then it would be pay to win.

  • As I stated above, it is very close and borderline. When bungie first introduced Eververse, they stated that it would only sell cosmetic items, this is no longer true.

  • No, it is not yet, because you can still get 3 weekly. Also since you need to do the end game content to level up the gear, it is not pay to win. It is some gear that you can get for cosmetic purposes and they made it so we can get it quite commonly by playing the game.

  • They need an addictional source of income tho i like the idea of buyin emote packs but leave it at that because the money they get from that is used to fund the game further so yeah i dont confone pay for power but i do condone putting extras you can buy just for fun to keep the game funded

  • That's why I also said they can sell a season pass that includes dlc and live events, that way they can remove eververse.

  • That would only be limited income tho and they already sold a season pass
