No new exotics? Here's an idea.
We've all seen the Kvostov in action in the Crucible. We've all seen the killstreaks and upsets Guardians achieve with it. I think it's time that it gets its own quest and upgrade, much like the Husk of the Pit got.

Type: Variable (see Exotic Perk)

The venerable Kvostov auto-rifle was a versatile weapon platform, able to change firing modes with the flip of a switch. Most examples are damaged beyond repair and only able to be used in fully-automatic mode, but some are found in pristine condition. A marvel of the Golden Age, this model was further upgraded and imbues each fire mode with a different elemental type.
Main: Third Eye
Tree: Smallbore, Hand-Laid Stock, Ext. Mag
Exotic Perk: "All You'll Ever Need" - A tree of three perks.
Perk 1: Increase Fire Rate, decrease range and impact, Becomes mid-fire rate Auto Rifle with Solar Burn.
Perk 2: Decrease Fire Rate, increase impact and stability. Becomes mid-impact Pulse Rifle with Void Burn.
Perk 3: Decrease Fire Rate and stability, increase impact. Becomes mid-impact Scout Rifle with Arc Burn.
Quest: Reunited - Fallen have been raiding Golden Age caches all across the Cosmodrome. It falls on you (and your fireteam if you have one) to step in and deal with these looters. Bring any interesting finds to the Vanguard (and possibly Xur, your Faction Leader, Amanda Holliday, etc) for glimmer rewards and possibly something special (the weapon itself).

Shadeless Hook exotic hunter arms "it does seems like lightning can strike at the same place more than once after all!" ~Cayde-6~ exotic perk: on the hook -grant aditionnal movement speed while using arcblade (~15-25%). Enemies killed by your arcblade will explode, chaining deadly lightning to nearby foes. Physic design: - a pair of sleek blue, a bit electrified arms with a "predator like" grey wrist blade on each arm.

1 ReplyLegionary's Oath, Solar Heavy Weapon Class: Low RoF/High impact MG "The only way to return home, is to come home victorious" Grenadier Extended mag/Rifled barrel/high caliber rounds Special perk: Rounds fired from this weapon cause AoE damage like those fired from a Centurion's projection rifle, and will also arc like their projection rifle. Kills increase damage for a short time.
