Mayhem Clash for next Iron Banner!!
I know. Mayhem. Clash. Teams of roving bads, and fast charging supers. But stay with me.
Even against teams of 6 running Mayhem Clash all week, I have never seen a game
Mode where the lead could swing almost instantly.
Fast supers.
Fast grenades.
Who needs a primary, secondary, or heavy? Your super is charged again!!
So anyway. Had a great time this week leveling a hunter through mayhem; we need this as an Iron Banner mode.
Think of it. Queue solo? Doesn't matter. As a team? STILL DON'T MATTER! Rewards and bounties can be done easily... Maybe not the primary/secondary.. Hard to Mida someone that is Golden Gunning your face, but high score and others would be knocked out so fast people would have a chance to enjoy themselves again!
Stress free murdering! Like the Purge, but all week for Iron Banner!

I think it would be better to do it as an alternative gamemode, because making something fun like mayhem sweaty might be the last thing we need in the crucible

6v6 elimination iron banner. Single elimination if you will. Imagine a destiny gun game mode with exotics. So many cool things they could potentially do.

2 RepliesThere is nothing competitive about mayhem clash. Nothing. It stands for the complete opposite of iron banner. It was placed into the game for people with little to no gun skill.

1 ReplyYes..... yes to all of this. Mayhem clash is so fun even if you loose. I've played it a lot and never seen a Mercy rule activated. Even when I went in with my clan it was never like we dominated and we lost as much as we won. Probably because the callouts need to be ultra fast. Not like I can say "Golden gun coming from B side" when my team mates react with "Crap Hammer at the door" "Aww I just got Fisted" "ARGH!! Electric dude". Guess that's why the call it mayhem. There's a reason why when you start instead of saying "Show the Iron Lords what you're made of", Shaxx keeps it simple with "Good Luck". I speak for my clan when I say we all vote yes to this.

Take Iron Versatility for example; it has you get 100 Primary kills, 50 Special kills, and 25 Heavy kills. Now in Mayhem Iron Banner it's changed to 100 Super kills, 50 Grenade kills, and 25 Melee kills. Just my two glimmer on the idea.
