I can only hope someone sees this. Bump if you agree?
You know, hand cannons have a learning curve to them. Probably the biggest learning curve of all the weapons in Destiny. Using them should be a rewarding task. I understand that damage should fall off at a longer range but our shots should NOT be missing or dissapearing inoi another dimension.
You can have your cross-hairs lined up with someone's/something's head and a red dot will appear. This let's you know you have a head shot lined up. It's an in-game mechanism for all weapons it seems. Yet, even when you have a head shot lined up at [point blank],red dot glowing and everything, you can still possibly miss your shot.
All we want is a weapon we can rely on. I want to know my shots will land where I'm aiming. Even if we have to land twice the number of shots due to the distance (damage fall-off due to distance) between us and our opponents. At least the shots freakin' landed.
Hand cannons aren't reliable anymore. Some Auto-machine guns have a better chance of landing a single shot from a distance than hand cannons due.
Hand cannons have a small clip size because every shot must count. What point is there to a hand cannon when you can't even count on the shot?
They don't need a buff. They don't necessarily need improved distance. They just need to be reliable, accurate, and precise -the way real life hand guns are.
