As a hunter main I say if our trip mines can one shot kill, firebolts should stay the same. But fusion rifles are what really needs to be looked at.

You have to aim the trip mines though lol
You have to aim the trip mines though lol
But the firebolts don't kill you like the trip mines do.

Edited by Bunglerbuck: 3/25/2016 2:29:14 AMBUT they stop all recovery for about 12 seconds and leave you one shot from death; that is if you weren't shot before Yeah, they kill you
BUT they stop all recovery for about 12 seconds and leave you one shot from death; that is if you weren't shot before Yeah, they kill you
So firebolts aren't any more OP than the other classes. Hunters have a one shot trip mine, Titans have a lightning grenade that is hard to escape from and is two shock kill, and warlocks have a grenade that they need to use up two perks for an ability that leaves you almost dead requiring them to not only throw a grenade but also shoot you. I still don't see how they are more OP than any other.

And sidearms. You forgot ;)
-
Yeah they should prolly nerf those
-
Smartest Hunter in the system, right here!
-
Except that your tripmine needs to be placed well. Firebolts do not, and two of them in a room of three people kills the whole room. One of them leaves the whole room at no health for 14 seconds.
-
Define "placed well" Because other than the firebolt, the trip mine is the most overpowered grenade and it should be nerfed as well.
-
Trip mines are not OP. This is coming from a nightstalker main. Gunslinger is kind of ass.
-
Why do you think admitting that you are a hunter main would make your opinion seem more valid? Honest question
-
A misplaced tripmine might as well not even be there. I have avoided so many, and it is so easy to go around them. You have to place it in just the right place to get them to go off, or you have to hope your enemy doesn't spot them.
-
Or, you can just put them everywhere that you know will give you easy kills. Don't pretend like that isnt what happens. Walk-in find a wall that you use every time, walk a little further, chuck another one there.
-
A tripmine like that will fool bad players. A firebolts can still destroy good players just as easily. That is the difference.
-
Yeah I agree it depends on where you're using them. If you're just normal crucible that method works all day. But if you're going in trials that will get you messed up. I get it

As a Titan main lightning grenades are the most overpowered grenade. I think they are fine. I mean Jesus they are called grenades! They should be powerful. I mean you have to learn how to get out of a sticky situation.
see what I did there.
