I just thought of this idea and was looking to see what people think about it!
What if: You equip viking funeral and it takes away the damage done by the firebolt itself and just applies the burn.
This would still make it super powerfull, but it wouldn't turn you into a oneshot by one grenade.
They could also just take away the perk.
2nd idea:
The closer you were to the centre of the grenade on impact, the more the burn does, with the max of doing the same damage as now.
Again, just some idea's I'm not looking to 'kill' your subclass, I'm just looking for a balanced idea!

My thing is, they are called grenades. How many grenades kill on use? Firebolts aren't the only grenade in the game with a burn. Sunbreaker has one. They already nerfed the range on firebolt awhile ago. If you want to remove all burns or dots fine, but this nitpicking every class to death is getting old. Give every class a version of every grenade type and let the player chose what he would like to use. You lose the character of individual classes but it sounds like most people complaining only want you to play with what ever class they are. The only complaint I've ever had is the green shit on my screen from thorn. But, I'm not xX420yoloswagmlgXx as most.
