Hey,
I just thought of this idea and was looking to see what people think about it!
What if: You equip viking funeral and it takes away the damage done by the firebolt itself and just applies the burn.
This would still make it super powerfull, but it wouldn't turn you into a oneshot by one grenade.
They could also just take away the perk.
2nd idea:
The closer you were to the centre of the grenade on impact, the more the burn does, with the max of doing the same damage as now.
Again, just some idea's I'm not looking to 'kill' your subclass, I'm just looking for a balanced idea!

Nah I main a hunter and don't see the warlocks needing a nerf, annoying? Hell yes but it's a balanced imo. And yea I have a warlock but deleted it and remade because wanted to do something a bit ago.

Or just make the burn tick faster. Then you're only out of the fight for 3-4 seconds.

The nerf sunsinger posts are never agreeable. The op always wants to nerf it into the ground. No middle ground at all. Just plain stupidity.

I think that the dot should just do one damage each tick. The person can't recover their health during this time but they won't become one shot where a breath of wind will kill them. The person who is tagged will have to be careful but won't have to immediately pull back and won't be screwed over if they are shot while running away

Or any dot in crucible is disabled once the dealer dies.......

I'm fine with Viking funeral. The only thing they should fix is the one hit melee kill with sun singer and their melee giving shield on hit

I would tweak Viking Funeral to lower the DoT duration by a tick or two and reduce damage, but buff it back to where it is now during Radiance.

As a hunter main I say if our trip mines can one shot kill, firebolts should stay the same. But fusion rifles are what really needs to be looked at.

It doesn't need a NERF though. You kids don't understand that the warlocks only have a grenade and melee.

Make it so it doesn't burn but makes attacks deal more damage (like tether or melting point)

as a nightstalker you are immune to firebolts if you know how to time your step

Maby buff the other perks instead of nerfing. Because most other perks suck. Same with melee.
