Hey,
I just thought of this idea and was looking to see what people think about it!
What if: You equip viking funeral and it takes away the damage done by the firebolt itself and just applies the burn.
This would still make it super powerfull, but it wouldn't turn you into a oneshot by one grenade.
They could also just take away the perk.
2nd idea:
The closer you were to the centre of the grenade on impact, the more the burn does, with the max of doing the same damage as now.
Again, just some idea's I'm not looking to 'kill' your subclass, I'm just looking for a balanced idea!

I thibk do the DoT damage quicker. Same damage and stuff but the quicker you tank the burn, the quicker you can recover, the quicker you can get back in action.

The subclass is fine, it's particularly strong in elimination when there are 3 of them, but other than that I don't find myself going "omgwtf oh noes a sunsinger!" while playing normal crucible. If it were that broke then I would be.

I think they should boost the burn time and add 2 more gernades ! :)

Taking a all of that in mind I think bungie should nerf fusion rifles

Fire bolts are pretty weak. I propose to add an extra perk. Fire bolts now have all grenade abilities: it's like a trip mine, lightning, incendiary, vortex etc etc, all in one. Only then can everything be truly balanced.

All i would like is for it not to explode the second it makes contact with something like flashbang or incindenary grenade. A little time to react would be nice.

I agree with everyone here that it's blast diameter should increase by 200%, it should increase the number of bolts to 6, damage should increase slightly by 50 and the burn should be longer. That would balance it out more for sure.

If anything it needs a buff. Someone can be standing in the middle of one and take zero damage.

Or just have the extra burn on the nads when your super is active.

Edited by Heidegger: 3/25/2016 10:03:04 AMF that not your ideas but there are alot of other issues that need fixing before an "op perk" •Voidfang Vestments should only work for voidwalkers •Lucky Rasberry should only work for bladedancers •Bladedancer super is still hit or miss •Titan shoulder charge is still hit or miss •Backstab should on proc on a Guardians back(not the front) •Warlock Scorch has a chance to OHK in the crucible without radiance(I have been a victim) •Compared to other fps games the lag is unacceptable (its not constant but still an issue) •Sunbreaker is a pretty weak subclass(I still use it and have success but compared to the other options don't even bother) •Have all primaries kill within reasonable kill times so we can stop having these meta weapons •The Ram should only work on Voidwalker(Both the armor perk and Life Steal) I don't get bungie fixed the force barrier glitch with no back up plans(it would proc on other subclasses like Sunbreaker or Striker) but they still allow Voidfang to be used for sunsingers.......

Honestly the only thing the sun singer has is its grenades and its melee, apart from that the class sucks and it seems everyone wants to nerf both of these things.
