I find it sad you are trying to correct english on the Internet where trolling is ripe (get the hint), it's a gaming forum, comments on Destiny/Bungie or GTFO...

There's your problem... I'm Australian and we use British English conventions where the less formal notional agreement of collective nouns can be used when referring to 'Bungie' as a collection of their employees (which I am as a lot of my comments are directed to the community managers, developers and management) rather than the company as a whole. American English tends to stick with the more formal agreement (singular usage) so we can part on amicable terms and say we are both correct... You're call...
